Abstract: A system for augmented reality comprises a helmet and a container body within which a video unit is housed that comprises a device for acquiring images of a real scene and a display device for displaying at least the aforementioned images. A support body is, furthermore, provided configured to engage the container body to the helmet. The container body and the support body are provided with respective first and second engagement members configured to selectively and alternatively removably engage the container body to the support body in a first engagement position, in which the device for acquiring images is arranged to acquire images with a first predetermined field of view and the display device is positioned within the field of view of the user, and at least a second engagement position, in which the device for acquiring images is arranged to acquire images with a second predetermined field of view.
Abstract: A coupling device couples first and second edges of first and second flooring or covering panels. The coupling device includes a projection on at least a portion of the first edge and a groove in at least a portion of the second edge, the coupling device locking the first and second edges one in a first direction perpendicular to the lying plane of the panels and in a second direction parallel to the lying plane. Abstract: A voltage supply circuit and a method for controlling a voltage supply circuit are provided. The voltage supply circuit includes a positive charge pump stage that generates a positive voltage and a negative charge pump stage that generates a negative voltage. The voltage supply circuit also includes a control stage that compares a voltage representative of the negative voltage with a reference voltage and causes a slope of the positive voltage to decrease when the voltage representative of the negative voltage exceeds the reference voltage.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a tunable resonant circuit including an inductance directly electrically connected in series between first and second nodes, a variable capacitance directly electrically connected between the first and second nodes, and a set of switched capacitances coupled between the first and second nodes. The set of switched capacitances includes a plurality of capacitance units, each capacitance unit comprising a first capacitance for that capacitance unit directly electrically connected between the first node and a switch and a second capacitance for the capacitance unit directly electrically connected between the switch and the second node. Control circuitry is configured to receive an input control signal and connected to control the switches of the set of switched capacitances. Abstract: The present invention relates to an aqueous binding composition containing a) a reducing sugar; b) ammonium sulphamate and/or sulphamate of an alkaline or alkaline-earth metal; c) a pH- adjusting agent selected from ammonium hydroxide (NH4OH), an organic and/or inorganic ammonium salt and/or an organic amine; and a resin (or pre-condensate) obtained by reaction of a polyaldehyde, a urea compound and at a lignin sulphonate and/or a condensation derivate thereof with a polyaldehyde, the resin being present in a percentage of at least 10% by weight on the dry weight of the composition. The binder may be efficiently used to bind cotton fibres, cellulose fibres, organic tissues, coal dust, natural and artificial inorganic fibres, thereby obtaining products with good mechanical properties.

Abstract: An apparatus for use in a gas turbine engine is disclosed comprising a bleed valve and an intermediate valve. In use the bleed valve is exposed to a source of pressurised air, and the bleed valve is movable between an open position, in which the bleed valve permits a flow of the pressurised air through the bleed valve and a closed position, in which the bleed valve does not permit a flow of the pressurised air through the bleed valve. The intermediate valve is operatively connected to the bleed valve and configured to selectively open and close the bleed valve, wherein the intermediate valve is configured in a mode of operation to close the bleed valve based on the pressurised air within the bleed valve exceeding a predetermined threshold.
Abstract: A machine is configured to make a food roll, wherein a strip of dough is spirally wrapped around a food product elongated along an axis between two ends. The machine comprises a feed means for conveying a plurality of strips of dough that are spaced apart from each other along a forming path and a wrapping station for wrapping each strip of dough around a food product. The wrapping station comprises a positioning area, which is configured to position the strip of dough obliquely with respect to the axis of the food product, and a rolling area for the strip of dough, which is configured to wrap the strip of dough spirally around a food product starting from one of the ends of the food product. The rolling area comprises two spindles that are rotatable about an axis of rotation and each one having an attachment portion for retaining a food product at the ends thereof.
Abstract: A geopolymeric ink formulation for direct 3D printing containing a geopolymeric formulation whose components are present in such proportions as to be subjected to a geopolymerization reaction and to provide, at the end of the reaction, a solid geopolymer and wherein the formulation, before and during at least a part of the geopolymerization reaction, wherein three-dimensional chemical bonds have not yet been formed, forms a reversible-gel, non-Newtonian, viscoelastic fluid. The formulation is extruded through a 3D printing tool equipped with nozzle into strands according to a geometry such as to create a three-dimensional structure on one or more layers. The extrusion preferably takes place within a hydrophobic liquid, such as oil.

Abstract: An unwinder for web material includes: a first and second reel holder, a dynamic storage device, a junction device arranged between the first or second reel holder and the dynamic storage device and configured to join an end portion of web material running out on the first reel to an initial portion of web material of the second reel, an actuator configured to pull the web material.
