    Abstract: There is provided to a tilt board (1, 51, 61, 101) comprising an activity surface (3) supported by a base (5). The base comprises a front wall (7) and a rear wall (9) that extends downwardly from the activity surface by a greater distance than the front wall. The activity surface (3) comprises an activity surface surround (15) defining an aperture (17) therein and a removable activity surface insert (19) dimensioned for reception in the aperture. A plurality of interchangeable activity surface inserts (19) may be provided. The activity surface inserts (19) are also tilt adjustable relative to the remainder of the tilt board. The tilt board (1, 51, 61, 101) is provided with a circumferential flange so that the tilt board may be inserted into an aperture of a larger work surface such as a table if desired. The tilt board can be used for a range of activities, can lie flat in a larger work surface if desired, and the tilt angle can be adjusted to several angles which is highly advantageous.

A spring biases the member toward its closed position. An elongated nib is mounted in the supply passage and has an end extending from the passage, the nib engaging the member so that the member moves to its open position. An adapter has a portion for holding a pad that has at least one dimension elongated transversely to the nib. The adapter includes an engagement portion with a cavity for detachably receiving an end of the reservoir, the cavity having a depth so that it engages the nib when the end of the reservoir is detachably received in the cavity to apply pressure on the nib to move the member to its open position.

    Abstract: A method forms an indium antimonide layer by a sequential evaporation for use as a magnetic sensing material having high electron mobility. The method includes the steps of: (a) preparing a substrate; (b) pre-heating the substrate (c) depositing an antimony layer on top of the substrate; (d) forming an indium layer on top of the antimony layer to thereby obtain a sequentially deposited layer, wherein the sequentially deposited layer includes the antimony and the indium layers; (e) providing a protection layer on top of the sequentially deposited layer; and (f) heat treating the sequentially deposited layer to force inter-diffusion of antimony and indium, thereby producing the indium antimonide layer.

    Abstract: This equipment is of the type comprising a spray gun provided with a hydrostatic atomizing nozzle delivering a flat jet of liquid in combination with a pair of orifices disposed on either side of the nozzle and symmetrically in relation to the flat jet of liquid so as to deliver air jets in a plane perpendicular to that of the flat jet of liquid. The front surface of the nozzle is frustoconical and the two orifices are adapted to direct the air jets against said frustoconical surface and thus create two fan-shaped sheets of compressed air on either side of the flat jet of liquid also of fan-like configuration, said two fan-shaped sheets of compressed air being somewhat wider than the jet of liquid and meeting together at their edges while clamping said liquid jet. The equipment further comprises means for varying the pressure of the paint or other product from 5 to 30 bars (72.5 to 435 lbf) and the air jet pressure from 1 to 4 bars (14.5 to 58 lbf).
