Abstract: Microprocessor controlled isopropyl alcohol vapor dryer system for robotic drying of wafer cassettes containing wafers or substrates. A wetted wafer or substrate is robotically placed into a virgin isopropyl alcohol vapor zone. The wetted surface and free-moving contaminants are replaced by a layer of isopropyl alcohol (IPA) which condenses on the surface. The dryer then robotically moves the IPA coated wafer or substrate into an upper cooling zone causing the isopropyl alcohol layer to flash off of the substrate surface, leaving the surface completely dry to a molecular level. IPA vapors are heated at the bottom of a quartz tank and maintained as a vapor by electric heating panels surrounding the quartz tank.

Abstract: A compact solvent reprocessing system for use in a limited physical area. Solvents to be reprocessed is contacted by deionized water in a water wash column and delivered to a distillation column where waste solvent is separated from materials that boil at a higher temperature than the waste solvent. Distilled solvent is delivered to a drying column and final filters for removal of any other foreign materials. The modular solvent reprocessing system to reclaim/recycle high purity solvents on-site at a manufacturing facility. A system includes a pumpless pressurized tank solvent transfer units, storage tanks, liquid-liquid extraction column, distillation columns, submicron filtration units, and water and acid adsorption columns arranged as necessary to produce ultra-high purity solvents from waste solvent streams. The systems are packaged in modular assemblies with secondary containment to meet U.S. EPA requirements.

Abstract: A DI water purification system for the point-of-use purification of water in applications demanding the highest quality of water. The system includes the following components: 1. dual submicron filters of 0.2 micron rating in parallel, housed in chemically inert housings; 2. a stacked-membrane or spiral-wound Ultrafilter module of nominal rating of 5000 to 100,000 molecular weight; 3. purge flowmeters appropriate to the purge requirements of the Ultrafilter; 4. chemically inert piping, gasket and sealing materials used to join the various sections of the system; and, 5. chemically resistant supports and housings to mechanically fasten the various components together. The DI water purification system is suitable for use in industries such as semiconductor, medical, pharmaceutical, chemical or any other application or use requiring ultrafiltered DI water.

Abstract: A high frequency ultrasonic system for sonically removing particles from substrates or wafers held in a carrier or carriers in a tank of liquid, such as DI water. A frame encompasses the tank and supports the transducer housing at an angle with respect to the tank bottom and also provides for horizontal movement between the sides of the tank. A transducer housing supports at least one transducer within the transducer housing. The transducer housing can be supported and moved at an angle with respect to the tank bottom.

Abstract: An electronic cycle control for electric downriggers providing the fisherman with a selection of amplitude for up and down motion at fishing depth for the ball or weight and offering a selection of dwell at each extreme of movement and functioning automatically and repetitively until terminated by the fisherman. The electronic control unit operates as a piggyback operator on the reversing relays of the electric motor of the downrigger.

Abstract: A swivel head counter for accurately measuring line in tension, such as a downrigger line passing over a pulley and the pulley driving a compact gear train. The gear train drives a counter wheel or knob so that actual depth or extension of downrigger line or the like may be directly read out. A swivel adjusts to maintain proper positioning of line to pulley.

Abstract: A downrigger UP stop for powered downriggers used primarily in fishing in which a nonconductive link is located in a cable line to the weight, mass or cannonball. A flow of current through the cable, water and boat is sensed by a sensing control circuit and the sensing of water when the circuit is directed to lift the cable functions until the nonconductive link breaks that continuity. The winch then stops and in a selected position by the fisherman. On dropping the weight again into the water, the atuomatic UP stop is in operating control. The UP motion can always be manually stopped by energizing the DOWN button and it can be restarted for automatic ascent.

Abstract: A combination table and rotating literature display stand comprising a base having a post extending upwardly therefrom, a table top mounted on an upper end of the post, and a plurality of rack members rotatably mounted on the post and positioned to form a closed structure. Each of the rack members includes a plurality of compartments shaped to hold printed material. Each compartment includes a lower pocket shaped to receive the lower portion of a piece of printed material and a rod extending upwardly and outwardly from the pocket for supporting an upper portion of a piece of printed material such that indicia appearing on a face of the printed material in the pocket is not significantly obscured.
