    Abstract: A tree support device is provided having a substantially W-shaped configuration. The device includes a cross member having first, second, and third elongated legs extending therefrom in substantially parallel alignment. The support device is made from an elastomeric material, such as gum rubber, and is openly exposed to degradation by ultraviolet light. In alternative embodiments, a substantially U-shaped support device or linear support device is made from the same elastomeric materials.
