  • Patent number: 5226738
Abstract: Bearing assembly carrying a radial collar (10) for retaining an interior ring element (4) of a bearing having two rows of rolling bodies (2) and which has at least one fastening flange (5), in which the inner face of collar (10) extends axially under ring element (4) by an axial support edge.

  • Patent number: 5035520
Abstract: Self-adjusting ball bearing cage consists of a ring (1), cavities (6) distributed circumferentially and coming out on a face (3) of the ring, spherical housings (4) openings on other face (2) of the ring, and rigid ball holding tabs (7) adjacent to each housing (4) and extending axially from the face of the ring. The tabs (7) of two adjacent housings (4) are connected by an undeformable partition (10) which is axially limited in the direction of face (3) of the ring by the bottom of cavity (6). Each cavity is positioned between two discontinuities of the face (3) formed by elastically deformable pads (13) limited by the bottom of corresponding housing (4).

  • Patent number: 5011738
Abstract: A procedure for the application of PTFE-based, self-lubricating coating on a steel bearing element whose chrome and nickel contents are less than 5%, is disclosed. The procedure is characterized by a working process whereby the element undergoes a preparatory treatment during which crystal nuclei form, followed by phosphatization treatment which forms a microcrystalline layer composed of an iron and manganese compound, then by the application of PTFE on the surface and between the crystals.

  • Patent number: 4842605
Abstract: The invention has as its object an improved hip prosthesis in which the femoral prosthesis oscillates around a pin inclined approximately 20.degree. to the horizontal, characterized by the fact that this oscillation is provided inside the head of the femoral prosthesis by a double bearing comprising a row of rollers to support the radial loads and, a row of balls to support the axial loads.

  • Patent number: 4688951
Abstract: Two parts of a roller bearing are separated by a gap and rotate in relation to one another, one of which carries a circuit through which a current passes. The circuit is rigidly connected to the rotating ring of the roller bearing and moves in front of a disk carried by the stationary ring on which an electromagnetic field probe is mounted.
