Abstract: A dual action latch, having a latch handle, an elongate bolt, a cam, a latch housing, and a biasing device, for installation on one side of door. The latch handle includes a lifting portion and a lever arm. The latch housing has a lever arm aperture through which the lever arm of the latch handle passes and a bolt guide for slidably receiving the elongate bolt. The latch handle is movably attached to the latch housing. With the latch handle moved, the lever arm withdraws the elongate bolt into the latch housing. Independently, when the cam is rotated by a separate handle on the other side the door, the cam plate likewise withdraws the elongate bolt into the latch housing.

Abstract: A spring fastener clip for affixed crate panels together, which includes a pair of spaced apart panel bridging arms connected at a top to a pair of cleat bridging arms in the shape of a number 7. Extending downwardly from free ends of the cleat bridging arms first cleat end fingers, and extending between the first cleat end fingers is a bridge section. Extending forwardly of the bottom ends of the panel bridging arms are second cleat end fingers. An engagement pocket section extends rearwardly in the direction of the panel bridging arms and downwardly away from the cleat bridging arms. The engagement pocket section extends. The engagement pocket section provides an engagement for a prying tool that can be inserted into the engagement pocket when the spring fastener clip is in the process of and completely affixed to crate panels.

The paddle handle pivot has a pin that non-rotatably engages with the paddle handle to pivotally attach the paddle handle in the well of the pan and has a pin trigger. The rotary latch portion has a housing containing a rotary hook with a mouth, a rotary trigger, and pin trigger cam. The rotary trigger retains the rotary hook in either an open position where the mouth of the rotary hook is accessible from outside of the housing, or semi-closed or completely closed positions, where the mouth is blocked by the housing. The trigger arm arrangement is adapted to transfer of pivotal movement of the paddle handle to the rotary trigger to release the rotary hook from the semi-closed position or the completely closed position to its open position. Only when the rotary hook is in the semi-closed position will the paddle handle be automatically partially tilted out from the well of the pan.
