  • Publication number: 20080017623
Abstract: An installation for heating products, in particular, a food composition formed from a heterogeneous mixture of a liquid phase and solid particles, including at least one heating pipe of tubular cross-section, the heating installation being supplied by a feed pump opening directly into the heating tube and driven by a first motor. The heating tube includes a worm that consists of a non-conductive material and is driven by a second motor controlled to provide a flow rate in the heating chamber.

  • Publication number: 20080020110
Abstract: A method of sterilizing a food composition formed from a heterogeneous mixture of at least one liquid phase and solid particles including a step of preparing a concentrated liquid/particles phase with a reduced amount of salt, a sterilization step including a phase of ohmic heating and a phase of holding the concentrated phase, a step of cooling the sterile concentrated phase, and a packaging step, wherein the concentrated phase is mixed after the heating phase with an aqueous phase including sterile salted water for formulation of the heterogeneous mixture of at least one liquid phase and solid particles.

  • Patent number: 4511637
Abstract: A receptacle for retaining a battery case in a battery powered vehicle contains hydraulic cylinders for lowering and raising the battery case into and out of the vehicle. Retaining arms attached to the hydraulic cylinder have retaining lips that are moved by contact with the walls of the receptacle to engage lip extensions on the battery case when the battery case is loaded into the vehicle. Upon removal of the battery case a bias spring swings the retaining arms away from the battery and releases it for removal.
