Abstract: Devices for simulating a transportation emergency are disclosed. The devices have a base with a framework of interconnected supports extending therefrom as a skeletal portion of a simulated transportation device and defining a chamber configured to receive a human or a medical-training manikin. Within the chamber a seat for receiving the human or the medical-training manikin is disposed. The framework defines one or more openings representative of access openings into the simulated transportation device such that a first responder in-training can receive instructions on how to assist a victim positioned in the simulated transportation device. The framework also defines one or more open frames representative of structural features of the simulated transportation device that block access to the victim such that realistic training occurs. The device may include one or more props such as a telescoping steering column, a prying simulator, a foot pedal unit, and a side impact bar.

Abstract: User-wearable remote speaker mic (RSM) holders for positioning a remote speaker mic relative to the mouth of the wearer are disclosed as well as a wearable radio support system including the same. The RSM holders include an elongate body having a first end and a second end and a first major side extending from the first end to the second end, and RSM attachment member positionable along the length of the first major side. The first end of the elongate body is releasably attachable to or is permanently attached to a donnable article of clothing or donnable gear, and a first attachment member is positioned at or proximate the second end of the elongate body and is connectable to a feature of the donnable article of clothing and/or the donnable gear.

Abstract: A low profile CPR mask shaped to fit under the face mask of a victim allows immediate emergency ventilation without requiring the helmet be removed. The mask may be molded to fit ergonomically to a rescuer's palm and be pliable upon the application of moderate force to obtain a tight-fitting mask seal against the victim's face.
