Abstract: A detent mechanism is provided for a tray table of an aircraft. The detent mechanism includes an actuator configured to move along with a table leaf of the tray table as the table leaf rotates between a stowed position and a deployed position of the table leaf. The detent mechanism includes a follower biased toward an open position of the follower. The follower is configured to be moved against the bias from the open position into a closed position of the follower by engagement of the actuator with the follower as the table leaf rotates from the stowed position into the deployed position. The follower includes a magnetic component configured to releasably hold the follower in the closed position.
Abstract: A seat bottom assembly, movable between stowed and deployed configurations, includes a seat pan plate having a front side, a rear side, a left side, a right side, a top surface, and a bottom surface. The seat pan plate is configured to move between stowed and deployed positions. The assembly also includes a pair of beam braces configured to engage a seat frame of a seat; a pair of front links operationally connecting the beam braces and the seat pan plate; and a pair of rear links operationally connecting the beam braces and the seat pan plate. Each of the front links is disposed on an opposite side of the seat pan plate from the other front link; and each of the rear links is disposed on an opposite side of the seat pan plate from the other rear link. The assembly also includes a seat cushion having a first top portion, a second top portion, and a bottom portion. The bottom portion of the seat cushion is generally disposed on the top surface of the seat pan plate.

Abstract: An interlock assembly for a tray table of an aircraft includes a first interlock configured to be moved from an unlocked position to a locked position by rotation of a table leaf of the tray table from a stowed position toward a deployed position of the table leaf. The first interlock is configured to be moved from the locked position of the first interlock to the unlocked position of the first interlock by rotation of the table leaf into the deployed position. The interlock assembly includes a second interlock configured to be moved from an unlocked position of the second interlock to a locked position of the second interlock by rotation of the table leaf into the deployed position.
