    Abstract: A pipeline pig made of plastic parts in which the parts are assembled on a tubular shaft, the end plate which holds the assembled parts on the shaft fitting over an enlarged diameter portion on the shaft, the shaft being inwardly deflectable to permit the end plate to pass over the enlarged diameter portion by the provision of slots in the shaft end, and a hub fitted within the shaft to prevent deflection of the shaft after the end plate is in position.
