Abstract: A method for producing a domestic appliance plate from a starting mixture. In order to provide a domestic appliance plate having a high resistance to thermal shock, good thermal insulation, and advantageous mechanical properties, at least magnesium silicate hydrate, kaolinite, calcined kaolinite, and aluminum oxide are used for the starting mixture.
