  • Patent number: 11679850
Abstract: The present invention relates to a system for attaching a device to an object, comprising: an attachment device for attaching the device to an object, the attachment device having a trigger for triggering activation of the attachment device; a releasable coupling device for releasably coupling the attachment device to a deployment system. The releasable coupling device comprising: a housing; a trigger system, configured to trigger the attachment device trigger; and a retaining system, configured to releasably retain the attachment device. The releasable coupling device is configured such that: in a first configuration, the trigger system is in a disarmed state; in a second configuration, the trigger system is in an armed state, such that movement of the attachment device relative to the housing of the releasable coupling device activates the trigger of the attachment device; and in a third configuration, the retaining system releases the attachment device.

  • Patent number: 6425064
Abstract: A memory structure for storing memory vectors in at least one storage location. A plurality of storage locations store memory vectors. After configuration each storage location has a length adapted to a length of a memory vector stored therein. The storage locations are arranged parallel to each other and extend from a memory input deeper into the memory such that each memory vector is arranged to be undividedly stored in sequential order with a beginning of a vector at the memory input. Storage place addressing is made to the memory input. Input buffers are arranged to input the memory vectors in unbroken sequence according to the addressing. The vectors are inputted in a buffer-by-buffer manner. Output buffers are arranged to output the memory vectors in unbroken sequence according to the addressing in a buffer-by-buffer manner.

  • Patent number: 6419185
Abstract: An arrangement in a missile and a method for guiding the missile towards a moving target, for example, an aircraft, wherein the missile has information on its own position, velocity vector, and future velocity characteristic. The missile continuously receives information on the position and velocity vector of the target. The arrangement and method operate such that, a point of interception, at which the missile is expected to strike the target, is calculated from the information on the missile and the target, and a velocity vector of the missile is directed towards the predicted point of interception, which is continuously predicted on the basis of an assumption as to the future movement of the target, and a calculation of the time to impact.

  • Patent number: 6382554
Abstract: The present invention relates to an arrangement and a method for guiding a missile (1) towards a target (2). The missile has information on its own position, velocity vector and future velocity profile and continuously receives information on the position and velocity vector of the target. The invention is characterized in that from the information on the missile and the target a point of interception (A) is predicted at which the missile is expected to strike the target. A flight time is then calculated which indicates the time that it will take for the missile to travel to the predicted point of interception (A). In addition a fictitious point of interception (B) is calculated which is situated at a higher altitude than the predicted point of interception and the distance of which to that point is related to the calculated flight time. Finally the missile velocity vector is directed towards the said fictitious point.

  • Patent number: 6114990
Abstract: A device for simulating in real-time a path of an object in a three-dimensional coordinate system. The device includes at least a first unit and a second unit each provided with a GPS receiver for receiving position and timing signals respectively from at least four GPS satellites, a transmitter/receiver for communication between the first unit and the second unit in the VHF or UHF frequencies, and a communication computer having memory capacity and providing a connection between the GPS receiver and the transmitter/receiver. A simulation computer is included at least with the first unit. The simulation computer communicates with the communication computer and simulates with an event driven protocol a path in the coordinate system of the object and communicating the path to the second unit. The communication computer controls the communication through the transmitter/receiver according to an STDMA method.

  • Patent number: 6111905
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and a device for purifying methane gas in a Raman cell (20). When pumped laser light having a high power passes through the Raman cell containing methane gas, a portion of the methane can be decomposed, and then highly reactive methyl radicals are formed. They can react with each other and as time passes form organic compounds, which are deposited on the inner side of the windows (22a, 22b) of the Raman cell. A trap (26) comprising calcium grains (27), which absorb the methyl radicals, is introduced in the Raman cell (20). The methane gas, which comprises a small content of methyl radicals, is made to come in contact with the calcium grains (27), whereby a reaction occurs between the methyl radicals and the calcium grains, so that calcium carbide and calcium hydride are formed. The methane gas is driven around in the Raman cell (20) and through the trap (26) by means of a compressor wheel (28) driven by a motor (29c).

  • Patent number: 5982238
Abstract: A method for increasing a working speed in a synchronous digital system, which includes a plurality of separate system parts, and for permitting communication between at least two of the system parts. A common reference signal having a reference frequency is distributed to all system parts. An internal signal clock oscillator of each system part is phase locked to the reference signal. Data is communicated between the at least two system parts by relating the reference signal with the internal clock signal of each of the two system parts by adjusting a phase position of the internal clock signal of a second of the two system parts dependent upon a time delay of the data communicated from the first system part to the second system part so that the phase positions of the internal clock signals correspond.
