Abstract: A method registers a vehicle in a road toll facility that is provided with radio transmitter and receiver units (7). The radio transmitter and receiver units are configured to communicate with at least one vehicle unit (12) arranged in the vehicle (4). The vehicle unit is configured with radio transmitter-receiver equipment so that on receipt of a command from the radio transmitter unit (7) of the road toll facility, the vehicle unit communicates adequate data for performance of a debiting operation regarding a toll. Upon the entry of the vehicle into the toll facility area, the transmitter and receiver units (7) of the toll facility determine whether the vehicle (4) is equipped with a vehicle unit capable of performing a correct debiting transaction.

Abstract: A device located in a vehicle for the registration of fees. It includes an activation unit for remote communications, a time counter, a sensor for sensing the traveling status of the vehicle from travel to immobility, a maneuvering unit for starting and stopping the registration of the parking time, a registration unit for the vehicle fees and preferably a signal unit for indication of whether the vehicle fees are registered. The time counter is arranged to register cost in dependence on time partly during periods when the sensor indicates movement in the vehicle and partly when the maneuvering unit indicates parking position of the vehicle, where no fee registration occurs when the sensor indicates that the vehicle is running and the maneuvering unit is not set on parking position. The sensor is an accelerometer.

Abstract: A device and method for registering the displacement of a vehicle using a video camera device located above the ground and including a pair of cameras spaced parallel to the ground and directed to record on their respective image planes areas of the ground which overlap at least partly whereby there are produced in the cameras pairs of stereo records. These pairs of stereo records are utilized in an image processing of the mutual locations of contrast fields within the contour of the vehicle for comparison. The contrast fields are located at different height levels above the ground so that evaluation of at least one of the fields may be used in the image processing as an indicator in tracking the displacement of the vehicle for successive positions of displacement to be registered.

Abstract: A joint dismountably attaches an adapter to a launcher with a satellite. The joint includes first and second flanges. At the first flange (1) is formed with at least one surface of revolution forming an angle with a contact plane between the flanges. The second flange is formed with another surface of revolution forming another angle with the contact plane between the flanges. Clamps are formed with a corresponding lower surface of revolution corresponding to the surface of revolution of the first flange, and with an upper surface of revolution corresponding to the surface of revolution of the second flange.

Abstract: A device for wireless transfer of information includes a data carrier in the form of a thin card, and a transponder that receives a first microwave signal, modulates it and codes it with data, and reradiates a second microwave signal without adding new energy thereto. The transponder includes at least one antenna device formed using microstrip conductors. The antenna device includes a patch antenna with an antenna layer that acts against a ground plane where the antenna layer and the ground plane are of substantially equal size. The device is characterized in that, it is equipped with a separate card holder with a reflective surface that is larger than said ground plane. The reflective surface increases the range by reradiating the second microwave signal and reducing sensitivity to back lobe reflections.
