  • Patent number: 7868477
Abstract: A device for supplying electricity to electrical equipment on a first element drivable for rotating operation with a predetermined rotation rate. A source of electricity includes a stator and a rotor that are rotatable in relation to each other. One of the rotor and stator is attached to the first element and another of the rotor and stator is attached to a second element including at least one braking member. In accordance with a predetermined drag coefficient, when interacting with a surrounding fluid medium in rotating operation a braking torque is induced, which results in a difference in rotation rate between the first element and the second element. An output to the source of electricity is based on a product of the braking torque and the rotation rate difference.

  • Patent number: 7813543
Abstract: The present invention relates to automatic modeling of a physical scene. At least two images (I1, I2) of the scene are received, which are taken from different angles and/or positions. A matching module (130) matches image objects in the first image (I1) against image objects in the second image (I2), by first loading pixel values for at least one first portion of the first image (I1) into an artificial neural network (133). Then, the artificial neural network (133) scans the second image (I2) in search of pixels representing a respective second portion corresponding to each of the at least one first portion; determines a position of the respective second portion upon fulfillment of a match criterion; and produces a representative matching result (M12). Based on the matching result (M12), a first calculation module (140) calculates a fundamental matrix (F12), which defines a relationship between the first and second images (I1, I2).

  • Patent number: 7795578
Abstract: A method for correction of non-uniformity in signal level in different image points in an IR-camera, based on a scene being observed during movement in time of detector elements, of a camera in which the detector elements are arranged and/or of the scene, with deviating output signals for the same energy in the scene measured by different detector elements being corrected for image interference so that they provide essentially the same output signal. Micro-mechanical gyros are introduced that measure the angular velocity parallel to and perpendicular to the optical axis of the scene. The measured movement is used as an estimate for calculating the movement with a movement estimation method based on scene data. The estimated movement is coordinated with an associated image. The difference between the most recent image and the immediately preceding image or the average value of a plurality of preceding images is calculated as offset parameters.
