Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses to monitor and track a usage of a digital asset by one or more third party users. The digital asset may be associated with a digital token of a distributed ledger. Further, metric data identifying and characterizing the monitored and tracked usage of the digital asset may be recorded within at least an element of the distributed ledger.

Abstract: A firearm safe box comprising a housing having sides defining an interior volume and an opening. A container is slidably received in the opening of the housing, the container being movable between a closed position preventing access to the container and an open position allowing access to the container. In this embodiment, the container carries a configured insert adapted to cradle a firearm. A lock mechanism is operative to retain the container in the closed position. An opening mechanism is operative to automatically move the container to the open position when the lock mechanism is released.

Abstract: An auditable security system for preventing unlawful diversion of goods and/or services is provided. The security system includes a secure enclosure, an access control system that generates audit data, cameras proximal to the access control system, cameras located in the secure enclosure, a video management system that manages the cameras and generates video data, an exterior computing system configured to allow users to interface with the access control system, the video management system and data stored by the systems, and a database configured for storing data stored by the access control system and the video management system. When a user interacts with the access control system, the cameras begin generating audio and video data, which is stored, along with audit data, in the connected database. The audit data and video data is also provided to a third-party system for processing.

Abstract: A disposable stylus is described. The stylus may include a stem having a grip region and an end having a tip. This stylus may include a conductive path between the grip region and the tip having an electrical conductivity that is greater than a predefined amount. During use, a user may grasp or hold the grip region of the stylus. Then, while maintaining contact with the stylus, the user may touch or contact a surface of, e.g., a touch-sensitive display at a contact point using the tip. The stylus may form a conductive path between the user's fingers and the surface. This conductive path may allow the user to transfer or redistribute electric charge to or in the touch-sensitive display, so that a location of the contact point may be determined by the touch-sensitive display while protecting the user from pathogens on or associated with the surface.

Abstract: A system enables registration of a population of individuals for purposes of managing health-related information. Once registered, an individual presents an identification card which is used by the system to provide authorized access to the individual's health-related information, refer the individual for needed health-related tests, and verify the individual's eligibility to participate in athletic competition. The system is capable of maintaining event-related information for each individual while providing appropriate confidentiality and secure access.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for securing a container, in particular a Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) container to an aircraft consists of four tiedown adapters. The tiedown adapters are attached one each to a corner of the COTS container, typically at about the vertical midpoint of the edge. The tiedown adapters each comprises a base and a swivel. The base abuts the COTS container and has an integral cable fairlead. A cable is threaded through the fairleads so it wraps horizontally around the COTS container. The ends of the cable are then attached to each other using a turnbuckle, which is adjusted to put a predetermined tension in the cable. A shackle is attached to the swivel of each of the tiedown adapters and attached to an Adjustable Strap Assembly (ASA) or similar tiedown, which is attached to one of the load rings in the aircraft.

Abstract: The present face mask may have a double seal, a triple seal or a quadruple seal, with distinct spacing between each of the seals within a set of seals. Each of the seals within a double seal, triple seal, or quadruple seal may stand alone or may be interconnected to other seals by bridging, where such bridging is formed of the same adhesive as the seal itself. Also disclosed is an after market embodiment where a multiple seal by itself is housed between two sheets of release paper to be applied to a face mask by the user himself when needed. Further disclosed is a multiple seal with bridging applied to a clothing combination, such as to seal sleeve cuffs to a glove.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for protecting a passenger during a crash comprises a moveable seat with an energy absorber (EA) that allows the seat to stroke a finite distance to decelerate the passenger in a controlled manner. The seat is designed so that one of a plurality of fixed profile EA's can be selectively engaged to provide a tailored EA composite profile adapted to the occupant's weight and anticipated crash environment. The tailored EA composite profile applies a frequency matched, low onset force to the seat, which substantially eliminates problems associated with dynamic overshoot of the passenger's spine.

Abstract: A system enables registration of individual athletes who wish to compete in organized sports leagues or other competitions. Once registered, an athlete presents an identification card which is used by the system to ensure that the athlete is not currently suspended from competition before being permitted to compete in a particular event. The system enables athletes to safely compete in multiple sports or multiple competitions sanctioned by different organizations. The system is capable of maintaining both health-related and performance-related information for each athlete while providing appropriate confidentiality and secure access.

Abstract: A safe comprises a housing having a first housing portion and a second housing defining an interior compartment for storage of items, the second housing portion being pivotal with respect to the first housing portion between closed and open positions. A latching mechanism cooperates with spaced apart first and second strikers to maintain the second housing portion in the closed position. The latching mechanism includes movable first and second locking elements that engage respective of the first and second strikers when the second housing portion is being maintained in the closed position. The first and second locking elements are retracted away from the first and second strikers to release the second housing portion into the open position. A motor having a rotatable output shaft carries a drive dog. A rotating plate rotatable about an axis is also provided, the rotating plate having an engaging element that is driven by the drive dog.
