Abstract: Methods and systems in accordance with the present invention provide an alerting alarm system designed to keep drowsy or otherwise inattentive drivers safe while driving. The system comprises an electronic device which comprises an ON/OFF switch, a reset button, a power source; for example a battery housing; a cover, a sound producing member, and a speaker. In some implementations, the device may be permanently affixed within the passenger compartment of a car. In other implementations, the device may be detachably affixed within the passenger compartment of a car. In still further implementations, the device may be free standing, and placed wherever the user desires without being affixed to anything.
