Abstract: An internally hollow package includes front, rear and side panels. A pair of aligned openings are cut in the front and rear panels leaving corresponding flaps contiguous with an end panel. The flaps and the end panel abut and secure the heads of a set of razors. The razor handles are positioned between the front and rear panels and extend toward an opposite end panel having an opening formed therein through which the razor handles pass and remain secured. Two sets of razors are oppositely positioned in symmetrical relation to each other thus permitting the package to be hung straight from a central mounting hole located equidistant from the end panels.
Abstract: A brush having bristles of varying heights in predetermined configurations is disclosed for extirpating ingrown facial hair from false follicles prior to shaving. The brush includes bristles of specified shapes, and incorporates a support for a razor. By properly preparing ingrown hairs for shaving a condition known as pseudofolliculitis barbae is more easily managed, thus alleviating physical and social discomfort.
Abstract: A generally matchbook-shaped package includes a narrowed panel for passing through mating slots in the handles of stacked safety razors. A safety cap is positioned on the bladed portion of the razors and may be easily discarded when ready for use.
Abstract: A two-part package includes a sleeve for receiving a tray. One surface of the sleeve has openings formed therein for receiving dimpled detents formed in the tray. As the tray is fully positioned in the sleeve, the detents engage the openings and retain the tray thereby inhibiting unwanted opening of the package and release of contents. Upon exertion of sufficient manual force on the sides of the sleeve, detent action is overcome and the package is opened as desired.
Abstract: A safety razor incorporates an apparatus for substantially vertical displacement of a blade carrier and the shaving edge carried thereby with respect to a skin guard. The blade carrier includes a circular hub retained by a circular receiving portion of a cover member used in the razor. A circular interfacing device, between the hub and the receiving portion, incorporates two eccentric segments. A first segment receives the hub, and the second segment is engaged by the receiving portion of the cover. Rotation of the interfacing device in the cover provides displacement of the blade in accordance with movement of the centers of the two segments of the device. Such displacement specifically causes movement of the razor blade with respect to the skin guard formed in the cover, and is used to provide a height adjustment for the blade.
Abstract: A cutter/scraper is disclosed having a flexible supporting structure. The support structure incorporates a frangible guard, the latter being reusable to cover the cutting edge subsequent to separation from the support handle. Handle flexibility permits improved scraping operation, and easier gripping is afforded for the cutter. The integral blade guard forms part of the packaging, and permits the visibility of the cutting edge while safely protecting from the effects thereof. The apparatus is formed of a single, inexpensive molded piece of plastic, thereby making the cutter/scraper disposable after having served its purpose.

Abstract: A razor in which a single edge razor blade is received in a blade platform member which member functions in the manner of a trap door, with the platform member in a first operative position holding the blade urged against blade stops in an operative shaving position, but which member can be moved to a second position in which the blade is released for removal from the razor.
Abstract: A package for releasable containment of flat articles having apertures therethrough includes a card having plural tear-away portions each in facing relation to a contained article and an overlay in facing relation to the card and articles with an adhesive securing the overlay to the card at first locations exteriorly of the articles and at second locations in registry with apertures in the articles.
Abstract: A two-edge shaving blade unit having a member for ejecting shaved hair particles and other matter deposited in and clogging a space between the leading and following cutting edges. The upper and lower blade elements are fixed between a platform and a cap portion in a parallel and spaced relation with a spacer interposed therebetween. The ejecting member is retained between the upper and lower blade elements and is loosely fitted around the spacer in a manner displaceable between an advanced and a retracted positions. The cap portion has a resilient rear wall having a knob at its laterally intermediate portion, and to this knob is connected the ejecting member. The ejecting member can be displaced forwardly into the advanced position when the knob is pushed manually so as to eject the hair particles and other matter deposited in and clogging the space between the leading and following cutting edges.
