Publication number: 20180036703Abstract: Embodiments described herein relate to an apparatus for a feeder system. The apparatus includes a reactant source, a reactant reservoir, a frame, and a valve. The reactant source contains a first reactant. The reactant reservoir receives the first reactant from the reactant source and applies a second reactant to the first reactant to facilitate a chemical reaction. The frame is coupled to the reactant source to maintain the reactant source gravitationally directly above the reactant reservoir. The valve is disposed between the reactant source and the reactant reservoir to control flow of the first reactant into the reactant reservoir.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 7, 2017Publication date: February 8, 2018Applicant: Passport Food Safety Solutions, Inc.Inventors: Micheal Mercer, Jackson McReynolds

Patent number: 7614203Abstract: A valve assembly for use with a self-sealing collapsible storage bag, the valve assembly having a first portion comprising a housing that has a sealing surface and contains a valve mechanism. A second portion has a sealing surface that is configured to mate with the sealing surface of the first portion. A snap mechanism is configured to allow the first and second portions to be snapped together with their respective sealing surfaces facing each other to form a substantially airtight seal. In operation, the first and second portions are positioned on opposing sides of a panel of a plastic storage bag, and snapped together so as to sandwich the panel between the first and second portions of the valve assembly. The plastic bag is pierced in the area of the valve assembly either during installation of the valve assembly, or later by insertion of a nozzle. Gas or fluid such as air may be selectively removed from or added to the interior of the storage bag through the valve mechanism.Type: GrantFiled: January 10, 2005Date of Patent: November 10, 2009Assignee: Safety Solutions, Inc.Inventor: John P. Patent number: 6871360Abstract: A head and neck restraint device for being worn by a driver while operating a high performance vehicle in which the device controls the driver's head from snapping forward and downwards during a frontal vehicular crash. The device includes a pair of anchor straps that are worn along the back of the driver. The straps are adapted for being connected to the driver's helmet and for being anchored to either the vehicle's seat belt assembly and/or to the driver's legs. The restraint device itself does not inhibit the driver from exiting the vehicle as exiting may occur after simply unlatching the vehicle's seat belt assembly. Moreover, since the restraint device is neither rigid nor bulky the driver may quickly exit the vehicle without being restricted by the device.Type: GrantFiled: December 31, 2002Date of Patent: March 29, 2005Assignee: Safety Solution, Inc.Inventor: Trevor P. Publication number: 20030198716Abstract: A system and method of maintaining the integrity of freshly harvested, or freshly cut fruits and vegetables. Specifically, the invention focuses on a distinct series of processes which confer a lower total microbial count, delay browning, improve general organoleptic properties, and decrease the amount of chemical contaminants on the exposed surfaces without the use of preservatives. Examples of such process may be applying a first produce integrity maintenance process, a second produce integrity maintenance process, application of an antibrowning agent to the produce by a produce antibrown agent applicator, exposing the produce to ultraviolet light by an ultraviolet light system, and applying an ozone treatment by an ozone treatment system.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 7, 2003Publication date: October 23, 2003Applicant: Produce Safety Solutions, Inc.Inventors: Thomas R. Patent number: 6499149Abstract: A head and neck restraint device, worn by a driver when operating a high performance vehicle, which controls the driver's head from snapping forward and maintains the driver's head, neck and spine in general alignment in the event of a frontal crash. The device includes a pair of anchor straps that are worn along the back of the driver and have first end which connects to the driver's helmet by use of hooks and tethers, and second ends which extends between the driver's legs for connection to a seat belt assembly. A chest strap and a waist strap are attached to the anchor straps for keeping the anchor straps separated at a predetermined distance. When exiting the vehicle, the driver unlatches a standard vehicle seat belt assembly and the restraint device is simultaneously released from the vehicle. Since the restraint is neither rigid nor bulky, the driver can quickly exit the vehicle unrestricted by the device.Type: GrantFiled: November 16, 2001Date of Patent: December 31, 2002Assignee: Safety Solution, Inc.Inventor: Trevor P.
