Abstract: An aircraft electrical apparatus includes an engine starter motor control unit configured to provide an AC input voltage to a transformer rectifier unit. The apparatus includes a transformer rectifier unit for supplying power to an aircraft DC supply bus. The engine starter motor control unit provides the AC input voltage to the transformer rectifier unit.
Abstract: A high pressure pump including a pump body, a pump housing within which at least part of the pump body is located, a gallery defined between the pump body and the pump housing, the pump body having a pump outlet which communicates with the gallery, and the pump housing having an outlet port which communicates with the gallery, and a filler located within the gallery, the filler being located at least in the part of the gallery most remote from the pump outlet.

Abstract: An electro-mechanical fuse integrated into the enclosure of a bearing assembly of a generator or like component. Under normal operation, the electro-mechanical fuse provides continuity through a bearing sensing circuit. However, ball cage damage causes the fuse to open and, in turn, the bearing sensing circuit indicates bearing wear. Thus, damage to other generator components is greatly reduced because the generator is removed for maintenance in a timely manner.
Abstract: A power distribution apparatus 30 comprises an outboard distribution unit 36, an inboard distribution unit 32, a feeder cable 34 electrically interconnecting the inboard and outboard distribution units 32, 36, a generator line 40 whereby a generator output can be supplied, in use, to the outboard distribution unit 36, and switch means C1, C3, C5 operable to control the electrical connections between the feeder cable 34 and the inboard and outboard distribution units 32, 36 and between the generator line 40 and the outboard distribution unit 36.
