Abstract: The invention relates to a molded decorative film that can be foam-backed and that is used in the passenger compartment of motor vehicles. Said decorative film is provided with a break line that is defined by a notched weakening in cross-section in the airbag penetration area. Said weakening in cross-section is formed by an internal notch that is closed at both ends by the material of the decorative film. Preferably, a notch is produced that extends on the side that can be foam-backed to the surface of the film and the notch is then closed on said side by welding.

Abstract: The invention relates to a hidden safety covering for an airbag arranged behind a inner lining part (1) which consists of at least one supporting part (5), of a foam layer (4) and of a decorative layer (3). In an area which is delimited by a weakening (5′) of the cross-section and/or by a material separation (5″) in the supporting part, the material of the supporting part and at least portions of the foam layer can be removed before the airbag (2′) unfolds from the effective area thereof (7′), and can be brought behind the inner lining part, for example, into a capture chamber (8). Abstract: The invention relates to a vehicle door comprising an outer panel lined with an inner door panel having at least one opening therethrough, a rigid base door trim panel covered with a decorative covering, the rigid base door trim panel being fixed to the inner door panel and being disposed in front of the opening thereof, the rigid base door trim panel locally integrating a cup-shaped housing opened towards the decorative covering and covered thereby, and a window lift mechanism partially received within the cup-shaped housing and connected to the vehicle door, the window lift mechanism comprising a rotative drum for lifting or lowering the window. The rotative drum is rotatively fitted within the cup-shaped housing.
