    Abstract: A rotary windshield wiper comprising a gear case having a stationary portion and the rotary portion. A cylinder extending from the rotary portion toward the window at the end of which is supported the rotary wiper. Wiper being rotated by a gear train extending through the cylinder and the gear case are connected to a motor. The rotary portion is connected to an operating arm by which it is moved so as to raise and lower the cylinder holding the rotary wiper.
