Abstract: A vital signal detection device includes: an antenna unit provided with a planar antenna of a MIMO radar on a front surface; and a display unit including a display panel on the front surface. The antenna unit is combined with the display unit or the display unit is combined with the antenna unit in a rotatable manner so that, from a state where the planar antenna and the display panel face in a direction ahead of the front surface, the planar antenna is turned to be directed to a direction of a back surface of the display unit opposite from the display panel. The portable non-contact vital signal detection device detects a vital signal on a side ahead of the front surface and a vital signal on a side in the direction of the back surface opposite from the front surface.

  • Patent number: 9537194
Abstract: Chipless RFID tags and a tag system are provided, wherein the stepped impedance higher-order mode resonator includes two sets of composite transmission lines each set having an equal line length and including a plurality of transmission lines each having a plurality of specific levels to which the transmission line characteristic impedance is assigned, the two sets of composite transmission lines each connected in series, the sets being connected at the center to form an electrically symmetrical configuration and wherein the chipless RFID tags and the tag system allow each of the codes to be assigned to each of the structures of the stepped impedance higher-order mode resonator, and allow each of those codes to be identified by detecting each of the combinations of the higher-order mode resonance frequencies that may be produced from each the structures of the resonator that corresponds to each of the codes that have been assigned.

  • Patent number: 8427372
Abstract: Disclosed is an electronic scanning array antenna which can be used as a UWB radar having an occupied band of not less than 500 MHz. An impulse generator is connected to each of a plurality of antenna elements constituting the electronic scanning array antenna, and a transmission trigger time to each of the impulse generators connected to the antenna elements is changed, whereby the phase of radio waves emitted from an antenna is equivalently changed. Moreover, a transmission trigger repletion interval is changed to thereby control a direction of a beam emitted from the array antenna. As means of changing a transmission trigger timing to each of the impulse generators connected to the antenna elements, a method of changing a frequency of a transmission trigger pulse and a method of changing a pulse position are adopted.
