Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating to efficiently managing skip list data structures. In some embodiments, a computing system stores a skip list including a plurality of key-value records that include one or more pointers to others of the plurality of key-value records. The computing system scans the plurality of key-value records in key order to identify key-value records to be purged from the skip list. The scanning includes maintaining a list of key-value records that include pointers that point to key-value records that have not yet been scanned by the scanning. In response to identifying a key-value record for purging, the computing system purges the key-value record by substituting the pointers included the key-value records of the list with pointers included in the key-value record being purged.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for compliance auditing using cloud based computer vision. In one aspect, a system is configured to receive, from a mobile device, a compliance audit request to at least recognize one or more products within the audit image. The system is further configured to select a first object recognition model having a first associated object recognition model identifier from a model selection list based at least on a required object recognition list, wherein the first object recognition model is configured to recognize a first set of object names within the required object recognition list. The system is further configured to request the computer vision system to perform object recognition using the first object recognition model to recognize the first set of object names within the audit image, and transmit audit result information to the mobile device.

Abstract: The type system of a functional programming language, such as DataWeave and/or the like, may be extended to add valuable semantic information to data types (e.g., attributes of data that inform a compiler/interpreter how the data should be used, etc.) that is automatically generated and/or hidden from a developer/programmer. For example, the type system may be configured for flow typing, based on a graph of type dependencies between expressions, without modifying an existing implementation, except at places where extra information can be obtained. Different parts of the type system implementation may be modified, for example, based on one or more injected retyper nodes, to provide more and better type inference.

Abstract: Embodiments described herein provide a query autocompletion (QAC) framework at subword level. Specifically, the QAC framework employs a subword encoder that encodes or converts the sequence of input alphabet letters into a sequence of output subwords. The generated subword candidate sequences from the subword encoder is then for the n-gram language model to perform beam search on. For example, as user queries for search engines are in general short, e.g., ranging from 10 to 30 characters. The n-gram language model at subword level may be used for modeling such short contexts and outperforms the traditional language model in both completion accuracy and runtime speed. Furthermore, key computations are performed prior to the runtime to prepare segmentation candidates in support of the subword encoder to generate subword candidate sequences, thus eliminating significant computational overhead.

The enrollment messages may include identification information associated with a designated person, health status information indicating the presence or absence of one or more medical symptoms associated with the designated person, and contact information identifying one or more individuals with which the designated person has recently come into physical proximity. A visual representation of a contact tracing graph may be generated for presentation on a user interface.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided that employ knowledge distillation under a multi-task learning setting. In some embodiments, the systems and methods are implemented with a larger teacher model and a smaller student model, each of which comprise one or more shared layers and a plurality of task layers for performing multiple tasks. During training of the teacher model, its shared layers are initialized, and then the teacher model is multi-task refined. The teacher model predicts teacher logits. During training of the student model, its shared layers are initialized. Knowledge distillation is employed to transfer knowledge from the teacher model to the student model by the student model updating its shared layers and task layers, for example, according to the teacher logits of the teacher model. Abstract: Approaches for using self-balancing shaped rewards include randomly selecting a start and goal state, traversing first and second trajectories for moving from the start state toward the goal state where a first terminal state of the first trajectory is closer to the goal state than a second terminal state of the second trajectory, updating rewards for the first and trajectories using a self-balancing reward function based the terminal states of the other trajectory, determining a gradient for the goal-oriented task module, and updating one or more parameters of the goal-oriented task module based on the gradient. The second trajectory contributes to the determination of the gradient and the first trajectory contributes to the determination of the gradient when the first terminal state is within a first threshold distance of the second terminal state or the first terminal state is within a second threshold distance of the goal state.

Abstract: Described is a method in a cloud-based system for implementing changes to flow engine software that executes user-specific flows for a plurality of users. The method includes: receiving a request to load and execute a user-specific flow; identifying an API version identifier for the user-specific flow; loading the user-specific flow; determining whether a software change to the flow engine software should be applied when executing the user-specific flow based on the API version identifier; and executing the user-specific flow using the flow engine software with the software change when it is determined, based on the API version identifier, that the software change to the flow engine software should be applied.

The protocol may be configured to customize support component add-in code for the CRM website, in some embodiments, at least by customization instructions applicable to the at least one page element of the support component add-in to the CRM website. Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for self-paced migration of an application programming language (API) gateway. An embodiment operates by applying a policy chain comprising a first set of policies to an API request received at a first API gateway. The embodiment forwards the API request to a second API gateway and applies, at the second gateway, a virtual policy chain comprising a second set of policies to the API request. The embodiment then forwards the API request to the first API gateway and routes the API request to a corresponding backend API.

Abstract: Technologies are provided for dynamically reconfiguring a database system of a tenant that is part of a multi-tenant database system based on risk profile(s) of the tenant. The database system includes database and an application server of the tenant. When a request is received from a client of the tenant, a database transaction having one or more query language patterns can be automatically detected. Query language pattern(s) can be automatically associated with a corresponding transaction category for that tenant, and a corresponding risk profile for that tenant can be determined based on the corresponding transaction category. Based on the corresponding risk profile, it can be determined if a dynamic reconfiguration process should be performed, and if so, system parameter(s) of the database system can be dynamically reconfigured to take action(s) to address one or more risks associated with the corresponding risk profile.

Abstract: Embodiments described herein provide an attention-based tree encoding mechanism. Specifically, the attention layer receives as input the pre-parsed constituency tree of a sentence and the lower-layer representations of all nodes. The attention layer then performs upward accumulation to encode the tree structure from leaves to the root in a bottom-up fashion. Afterwards, weighted aggregation is used to compute the final representations of non-terminal nodes.

Abstract: In accordance with embodiments, there are provided techniques for managing functionality changes of a database platform of a service provider. The techniques facilitate implementing changes to the database platform while minimizing work flow reductions to users of the database platform. To that end, one embodiment of the present invention delays implementation of the changes for a duration of time to provide users of the database platform an opportunity to adjust behavioral interaction with the database platform. In accordance with another embodiment of the present invention, users may implement the functional changes to determine any adverse impact on work flow, before the functional changes become permanent. In another embodiment, the users may be afforded an opportunity to selectively enable and disable the functionality changes before the duration of time expires.

Abstract: Techniques and systems for completing a database query. A time to complete a synchronous query in response to receiving an original database query is estimated by a database management system provided by one or more computing devices. A synchronous database query corresponding to the original database query is performed with the database management system if the estimated time to complete the synchronous query is less than a pre-selected threshold time. One or more asynchronous queries corresponding to the original database query are performed with the database management system if the estimated time to complete the synchronous query is greater than the pre-selected threshold time. A result, whether from a synchronous query or one or more asynchronous queries, is stored in an object within a non-relational database system.

Abstract: Approaches for multitask learning as question answering include an input layer for encoding a context and a question, a self-attention based transformer including an encoder and a decoder, a first bi-directional long-term short-term memory (biLSTM) for further encoding an output of the encoder, a long-term short-term memory (LSTM) for generating a context-adjusted hidden state from the output of the decoder and a hidden state, an attention network for generating first attention weights based on an output of the first biLSTM and an output of the LSTM, a vocabulary layer for generating a distribution over a vocabulary, a context layer for generating a distribution over the context, and a switch for generating a weighting between the distributions over the vocabulary and the context, generating a composite distribution based on the weighting, and selecting a word of an answer using the composite distribution.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments providing a data sorting and rating system. An embodiment operates by detecting a user modification of a particular value of a sorted plurality of values of a column displayed in a visual interface including a sorting visual indicator indicating that the plurality of values are sorted. It is determined that the values are no longer sorted after the user modification. The sorting visual indicator is replaced with a refresh visual indicator based on the determination that the plurality of values are no longer sorted. The values including the user modification are re-sorted based on a selection of the refresh visual indicator. The re-sorted plurality of values including the user modification of the particular value are provided for display in the visual interface.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for automatic non-code test suite generation of an application programming language (API) specification. An embodiment operates by receiving a specification of an API, wherein the API comprises a plurality of endpoints. The embodiment generates, using a parser, an abstraction model corresponding to the specification of the API, wherein the abstraction model comprises a plurality of entities corresponding to the plurality of endpoints. The embodiment identifies, based on the abstraction model, an operation that is applicable to an entity of the plurality of entities. The embodiment then generates a functional test based on a use case corresponding to the entity and the operation.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for automatically cataloging updated Application Programming Interface (API) specifications with updated version numbers. The API specifications may have been previously published to an application exchange platform. An automatic cataloging tool installed at an API development system may identify an updated API specification committed to an API specification repository. The automatic cataloging tool may identify a base API specification that has been previously published and confirm that a change has been made. The base API specification may correspond to a particular API development branch that has been updated. The automatic cataloging tool may also apply a versioning strategy to automatically determine an updated version number for the updated API specification. The application exchange platform may then replace the previous API specification with the updated API specification and the updated version number.

Abstract: A computer-based system may be configured to collect metadata for each source and target defined for a data pipeline and formatting information (e.g., schemas, transformations, etc.) associated with each entity and field. During the definition of the pipeline, how the data will end up in the target may be defined, for example, by a user of the computer-based system via a GUI/interface and/or the like. Information (e.g., modification information, etc.) describing how the data will end up in the target may be defined, stored, and accessed to determine and/or track over which fields and entities are affected by the user-defined mutations and over which schemas. Lineage information (e.g., a genealogical tree, data lineage tracing, etc.) describing a data, version, and transformation may be generated and used to determine a source for a data record, how changes to the data record are related, how lineage evolved, and/or the like.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and device embodiments for enriching the capabilities of an API management product by deploying an augmented circuit breaker policy at an API gateway to automate regression analysis. Based on the augmented circuit breaker policy, the API gateway may perform curative remedies when a triggering condition occurs, e.g. rolling back the software release or alerting administrators. In one use case, the augmented circuit break policy may mitigate the damage of a faulty software release by programmatically directing all requests received at the API gateway to a stable version of the API. The benefits may be extended by using machine learning to train normality models on the typical behavior of a particular API. A user may then configure an augmented circuit breaker policy to perform a programmatic rollback when the API gateway recognizes conditions that diverge from normal behavior.
