Abstract: A server within an on-demand computing services environment may receive a request to determine a route that involves a set of geographic locations. The server may identify pre-computed path information suitable for responding to the request. A route may be determined based on the identified information, and route information may be transmitted in response to the request.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods for implementing a PREDICT command with a predictive query interface including means for generating indices from a dataset of columns and rows, the indices representing probabilistic relationships between the rows and the columns of the dataset; storing the indices within a database of a host organization; exposing the database of the host organization via a request interface; receiving, at the request interface, a query for the database specifying at least (i) a PREDICT command term, (ii) one or more specified columns to be predicted, and (iii) one or more column name=value pairs specifying column names to be fixed and the values by which to fix them; and querying the database using the PREDICT command term and passing the one or more specified columns to be predicted and the one or more column name=value pairs to generate a representation of a joint conditional distribution of the one or more specified columns to be predicted fixed according to the column name=value

Abstract: Disclosed are methods, apparatus, systems, and computer-readable storage media for identifying a topic for a text. In some implementations, one or more servers maintain a plurality of data entries in one or more database tables storing text data, each data entry of a first portion of the data entries including: a text sequence, a topic, and a text-to-topic association score indicating a number of times that the text sequence appears in a processed text associated with the topic, each data entry of a second portion of the data entries including a total word score indicating a number of times that a respective text sequence appears in one or more processed texts. The one or more servers may receive an incoming text and identify a topic for the incoming text by processing the text sequences of the incoming text in relation to the data entries in the database tables.
Abstract: The present invention provide systems, methods, and apparatus for distributed mobile services. Methods and systems for distributed infrastructure are provided for handling mobile client requests. A distributed environment, serving the mobile community may be provided by replicating a mobile services infrastructure in more than one physical location, e.g., replicating a mobile services infrastructure for every core data infrastructure. A method is provided for handling client requests in a distributed environment, where an optimal mobile services infrastructure is discovered based on the requesting client.
