Abstract: A user's information uploaded onto a computer. Target data are selected and are downloaded to a wearable monitoring unit (WMU). The WMU includes a heart rate monitor, a unit accelerometer, a GPS, one or more force-micro-sensors, and an audio and/or video output. The audio/video output may provide information to the user. A display provides a continuously updated visual indication of whether the use has achieved the preselected optimum expenditures for a time segment. The WMU has an internal calendar/clock, a processor and/or memory. The processor compares measured heart rate and energy expenditure for multiple time segments against target levels stored as the user-specific wellness or rehabilitative physiotherapy program. The comparison is used to generate compliance output data.
Abstract: The invention relates to the field of computerized generation of a visualization from a plurality of images. In particular, the invention relates to generating a three-dimensional (3D) visualization from a plurality of two-dimensional (2D) medical images. The images may be obtained from an ultrasound device. Regions of interest are segmented in at least two images and the region of interest is then tracked and segmented among the remaining images.

Abstract: A method, system and computer program for detecting and displaying a person's activity-travel pattern over time and space is provided. Person-based location data is acquired by a personal communication device and processed in accordance with an algorithm. The invention goes beyond applications that focus on the detection of the current location of the user, but rather the enhanced knowledge of the users current, past, and likely future activities and their multi-dimensional attributes. The present invention can be implemented on common hardware and is easily accessible via web-based interfaces and reporting, making various applications achievable at very low cost.
