Abstract: A ski including a structural unit, gliding structure, as well as a decorative and protective structure. The structural unit includes at least one lower reinforcement, at least one upper reinforcement, and an intermediate structure, or core, positioned between the upper reinforcement and the lower reinforcement. The ski has a longitudinally extending cambered shape such that, when the gliding structure is positioned on a flat surface, the ski rests on a shovel contact point and a tail contact point. The ski further includes a tension structure that exerts a tension force between a first anchoring, positioned longitudinally beyond the shovel contact zone, and a second anchoring, positioned on rearward of the shovel contact zone. The tension structure is positioned for most of its length beneath the decorative and protective structure, such tension structure being positioned for most of its length above the neutral axis of the ski, such as above the upper reinforcement.

Abstract: The invention relates to a safety binding for skiing, including a toe piece that includes a body mounted to slide vertically relative to a front mounting base connected to the ski and defining an upper stop for a boot; a device for adjusting the vertical position of the body, which can be manipulated by the skier in the area of the upper portion of the body; at least one lever pivotally mounted relative to the body about a substantially vertical axis between a retaining position and a release position of a boot; and a spring mounted transversely in the body and biasing the lever toward its boot-retaining position.
Abstract: The invention relates to a spoked wheel that includes a peripheral rim, a central hub, and individual connecting spokes between the rim and the hub, the spokes being taut. The wheel includes an arrangement for adjusting the tension of at least some of the spokes, and the spokes are taut with an initial tension Ti corresponding to a normal tension value Tn which is reduced by a value corresponding to a compression force R that can be supported by each spoke. For a rear wheel, the spokes supporting the compression forces are those arranged on the side opposite freewheel.
Abstract: A boot that includes a shell base and a collar, an articulation provided between the collar and the shell base, such that the collar can pivot with respect to the shell base about an articulation axis, which is substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis, and further including a device for blocking the rearward rotation of the collar with respect to the shell base, the devices for blocking the rearward rotation including the following: a rocker mounted so as to rotate with respect to either the collar or the shell base, around a first pivot, the pivot being oriented along a first axis and the rocker having an elongated shape between an upper end and a lower end, and the first pivot being positioned in the vicinity of one of the two ends; a support base, positioned in the vicinity of the other of the ends, including a first support surface, which is capable of coming in contact with either the shell base or the collar; and a lever mounted so as to rotate with respect to the rocker around a second pivo
Abstract: An article of footwear including an outer sole assembly and an upper, the outer sole assembly extending lengthwise from a rear end to a front end, and widthwise between a lateral side and a medial edge, the outer sole assembly having a surface for contact with the ground. The contact surface has a first strip, the first strip having an alternation of projections and recesses. The contact surface has a second strip, the second strip having an alternation of projections and recesses. The projections and recesses of the first strip are arranged alternately with respect to the projections and recesses of the second strip.
Abstract: A fastening buckle adapted to bring a first side loser to a second side, including a cap fixed on the first side, a lever pivotally mounted about a first axis relative to the cap, a tie rod pivotally mounted on the lever about a second axis, the first axis being actuated, during tightening, by a translational movement with respect to the first side. An attachment rack is fixed on the second side; a latch is affixed to the tie rod, such that the latch, when closed, is engaged with one of the teeth of the rack. The cap includes two parallel side members in each of which an elongated opening is arranged. A slot is arranged in the lever between two legs; the first axis is defined by two rivets, each of the rivets fixing one of the legs to one of the side members by extending through the elongated opening so as to enable the translational movement of the lever with respect to the first side.

Abstract: The invention relates to a gliding board including a structural beam defining a longitudinal direction and having a gliding surface bordered on each side with a lateral running edge, each running edge having an edge body and an anchoring blade, the anchoring blades of the two running edges being oriented opposite one another. An inextensible connecting element locally connects the anchoring blades, at least along a portion at least of the length of the beam, and the connecting element is oriented in the extension of each of the blades.
