  • Patent number: 10795489
Abstract: A detecting method for a touch panel is disclosed. The sensing electrode of the detecting method is indirectly and repeatedly charged several times via the charge holding capacitor circuit to reach a certain higher voltage. The driving electrode is switched to the first voltage or the second voltage under the cooperation of the driving circuit when several measuring cycle is conducted. After the voltage is switched every time, several measured values of different situations are obtained rapidly so as to eliminate the noise to get the best signal via several measured values. There is only to wait the balancing time in the measuring cycle, which effectively shortens the reaction time of the touch detecting.

  • Patent number: 10296139
Abstract: A refreshing method of sensing baseline values for a capacitive sensor device and the capacitive sensor device are applied to confirm whether the differences between the current measured values and the factory or record baseline values are approximately equal, to determine whether to use current measured values as the sensing baseline values used in the following sensing procedure. When the differences are approximately equal, the current measured values are used as the sensing baseline values. When the differences are not approximately equal, the factory baseline values are used as the sensing baseline values, and the correcting procedure of the sensing baseline values of the sensing points is executed. In the correcting procedure, the signal characteristic of the measured value of each sensing point is detected to be high frequency or low frequency, to determine whether to refresh the corresponding sensing baseline values by the current measured values.

  • Patent number: 10146367
Abstract: A synchronization method for a touch signal processing system is provided. The touch signal processing system includes a first and a second detecting unit. The method includes the following steps. First, the second detecting unit sends a sync start signal to the first detecting unit and then switches to an idle mode. After receiving the sync start signal, the first detecting unit sends a wake-up signal through a first hardware pin to the second detecting unit. The first detecting unit is then put on hold for a predetermined delay time. After receiving the wake-up signal through a second hardware pin, the second detecting unit switches to a working mode. The first detecting unit which has been put on hold for the predetermined delay time and the second detecting unit that is in the working mode respectively drive one or more analog-to-digital converters, so as to detect touch signals.

  • Patent number: 9965114
Abstract: A method for position detection is adapted to a sensing device. The sensing device includes a plurality of sensing blocks arranged in a 2D array, with each block having a plurality of sensing points arranged in a 2D array. The method includes conducting a block-scan to determine if a touched block exists, and conducting a point-scan to obtain a touched point if the touched block exists. In order to obtain a touched point, the sensing device applying the method conducts a block-scan within the sensing area and then a point-scan within the touched block instead of point-scanning the whole sensing area. Accordingly, the sensing device could obtain the touched point faster than before.

  • Patent number: 9811198
Abstract: A refreshing method of background signal for a device includes: obtaining one or more touched coordinate pair; obtaining a refreshing area according to the touched coordinate pair, an extension parameter, and a measuring breadth; and refreshing a background signal of the refreshing area. The refreshing area is determined by extending a distance of measuring breadth from a center point corresponding to the touched coordinate pair along the orthogonal directions. Accordingly, the refreshing area is sufficient to address the situation where the user draws a line continuously from the touched coordinate pair if the measuring breadth is determined properly. Therefore, the method may satisfy the needs of the user and reduce the refreshing time of an active area of the device. In addition, a device for applying the method is provided as well.
