Abstract: Systems and methods for implementing and performing coaching-assisted content delivery and workflows are described. In one example, a goal-based workflow integrates with operations for suggesting and delivering content on behalf of professional users. The operations may be conducted in connection with a subscription or membership to an information service, and various interactions between a client user and a professional user through the information service. In further examples, the information service may track data for the human user, generate suggestions and playlists, manage the accomplishment of goals and logic triggers, and exchange communications, to facilitate the relationship between the professional user and the client user. In other further examples, the information system manages various data values used to provide prompts, reminders, motivators, and other forms of suggested content to the client user.

Abstract: Systems and methods for implementing and performing goal-based workflows to assist a human user with achieving a goal or set of goals are described. In one example, a goal-based workflow includes operations for obtaining information from the human user relevant to a goal, performing a psychological and psychological assessment of the human user, selecting and providing goal-based content to the human user, and obtaining and processing a response to the goal-based content from the human user. The operations may be conducted in connection with a subscription or membership to an information service. In further examples, the information service may integrate the content delivery with a social network of “supporter” human users, used to provide encouragement and motivation to the human user for achieving the goal. In other further examples, rewards and adjustments may be provided to the human user based on previous responses to the goal-based content.

  • Publication number: 20140156646
Abstract: Systems and methods for content tagging and creation within in an information system are described herein. Content tagging may include the processing of unstructured data as input and the transformation of the unstructured data into structured data that has context relative to a user or a group of users. The content may include an action statement suggesting at least one action for the user to perform. The tagging process may associate the action statement with a tag provided from a hierarchy of tag classifications, the tag being relevant to motivating the user to perform at least one action contained in the action statement (for example, the performance actions facilitating the user's achievement of a health goal). The content and associated tagging data may then be stored in the information system for consumption by the content suggestion engine. Further techniques for tagging and accessing tagged data are also described.

  • Publication number: 20140156676
Abstract: Systems and methods for content selection and processing in an information system are described herein. In one example, a content suggestion engine operates to select, suggest, or recommend content to human users. The selection of content may be suited to a goal or set of goals set by a human user (for example, content recommendations used to assist the human user with achieving a personal health goal). The content suggestion engine may evaluate information to help determine the appropriateness of the content suggestions, considering factors such as a psychological profile, medical conditions, lifestyle, demographics, and goals. The content may be further filtered and weighted to select a subset of content and suggested actions most relevant to the human user.
