Patents Assigned to Salzgitter Maschinen und Anlagen Aktiengesellschaft
  • Patent number: 4683764
Abstract: A tiltable horse-head shaped transmission part at the end of a rocking beam of a cornish type pump drive, is pivotably supported at one end portion of the rocking beam. The rocking beam is pivotably supported on a stationary stand. The horse-head transmission part is mounted in bearing blocks which are shiftable in longitudinal direction of the rocking beam and at the same time are tiltable about an axis which extends parallel to the longitudinal direction of the rocking beam. In this manner an accurate adjustment of the horse-head transmission part relative to a polished rod in the bore hole is made possible so that the polished rod can be accurately guided in corresponding stuffing boxes. The horse-head shaped transmission part is provided with two force application points serving for introducing tilting movement in a backward direction toward a stand and in a forward direction away from the bore hole. The force application points are equipped with fastening means for the attachment of a pulling rope.

  • Patent number: 4491846
Abstract: An arrangement for holding a plurality of superimposed independently turnable devices on the upper end of a vertical mast, especially antennas on an antenna mast, in which a separate rotary drive is coordinated with each of the devices, in which all the rotary drives are arranged coaxial with the mast and each including a hollow drive shaft and a stationary part, wherein the stationary part of a first rotary drive adjacent the upper end of the mast is releasably connected to one end to the latter and at the other end to a coaxial connecting tube, whereas the drive shaft of this first rotary drive is releasably connected to a tubular carrier turnably and coaxially mounted on the connecting tube and carrying one of the devices, and in which the stationary part of each following rotary drive is releasably connected at one end to the preceding connecting tube and at the other end to a further connecting tube and the drive shaft of each following rotary drive is releasably connected to a tubular carrier turnable a

  • Patent number: 4346766
Abstract: A drill cradle comprises a carriage, an elongated slide track carried by said carriage substantially parallel to the sole of the mine gallery in which the drill cradle may be used, and at least one slide supported on said slide track movable in longitudinal direction of the latter. An elongated rail is mounted movably in longitudinal direction and tiltable about an axis on the slide. A boring bar and a drive are mounted on the rail, and at least one side member is hingedly connected to one end of the slide track, movable between a first position in which the side member forms a longitudinal extension of the slide track so that the slide may also move along the extension and a second position upwardly or downwardly extending from the slide track so as to facilitate moving of the drill cradle through a narrow underground mining gallery.

  • Patent number: 4340122
Abstract: The drilling apparatus includes a mount in the form of a cylindrical member defining an elongated passageway and being provided with two opposite guiding rails each being formed with an elongated recessed channel communicating with the passageway; a rotary drive for holding a drill rod has a non-rotating casing provided with guiding elements movable in the recesses of the guiding rails; a feeding mechanism for advancing the rotary drive includes either tooth racks arranged in the recesses of the guiding rails and driving pinions mounted on the casing of the rotary drive or cylinder and piston units located in the recesses of the guide rails and cooperating with feed cables or chains. The mount is supported on a mobile undercarriage which is provided with two pairs of vertically adjustable supporting legs.

  • Patent number: 4280572
Abstract: A percussive tool, particularly a chisel for percussive working in rock, has a body portion, and a nozzle arrangement in the body portion, which is operative for forming a high-speed flow of a high-pressure fluid, particularly liquid, and directing the same to a working region of the body portion. The nozzle arrangement may include a plurality of nozzle holes which are open into the working region. It may also include at least one nozzle hole and at least one nozzle directing the flow of fluid into the nozzle hole. The nozzle may be supported by a supporting member which has an inner passage and extends from an inner chamber of a head section of the body portion into a receiving recess of a shaft section of the latter. The supporting member may be adjustable in the direction of a longitudinal axis of the chisel.
