In an embodiment, a method of detecting steganography in a compressed digital image includes extracting neighboring joint density features from the image under scrutiny. Steganography in the image may be detected based on differences in a neighboring joint density feature of the image.

The bacteria used to form the biofilm may be selected to maximize the reduction of contaminants in water. Various components of the wastewater treatment system may be optimized to improve the efficiency and energy consumption of the wastewater system.
