Abstract: A case for enclosing a personal electronic device with a front surface is described. The case comprises a front with an inside surface, an outside surface, and at least one raised front edge surface; a back with an inside surface to mount the personal electronic device, an outside surface, and at least one raised rear edge surface a surface cover; wherein the front inside surface. The front outside surface and the back outside surface are overlaid with the surface cover. The surface cover abuts the at least one raised front edge surface or the at least one raised rear edge surface.

Abstract: A case for enclosing a personal electronic device is disclosed that has at least one button molded into the case, wherein the button is manufactured from rigid material that may or may not deform when depressed. The case, whether hard or soft, may incorporate the buttons manufactured from a hard material and afford the user the same tactile response as if the user were depressing the underlying buttons on the device. The case may be co-molded with two similar or dissimilar materials. One of the co-molded materials may provide a membrane that allows the button to flex and also secures the buttons to prevent them from being dislodged from or out of the case.
Abstract: An adjustable case for a mobile electronic device. The case has a bottom including a main chassis, a fixed holding member fixedly connected with the main chassis, a sliding holding member slidedly connected to the main chassis to slide back and forth, and a tension mechanism biasing the sliding holding member towards the fixed holding member so that the fixed holding member and the sliding holding member squeeze the mobile electronic device when fitted in the case. A plurality of friction members is fixed to a mobile-device-facing surface of the case bottom so that the friction members contact a bottom of the mobile electronic device when the mobile electronic device is fitted in the case. A plurality of raised corner sidewalls is also provided, each sidewall arranged at a corner of the main chassis to extend in a mobile-device-facing direction from the mobile-device-facing surface of the bottom of the case.

Abstract: A case or cover for an electronic device comprising a protective input covering portion adapted to protect an input component for the electronic device, wherein the protective input covering portion comprises a capacitive material operably positioned to operate the input component.
Abstract: A one-piece co-formed exterior hard shell case with an elastomeric liner formed on the interior of the exterior hard shell for mobile electronic devices. This hard protective exterior shell allows the device maximum protection from impacts with sharp objects while the interior elastomeric portion that provides shock protection for the device from impacts. The exterior hard shell part is formed to fit the device closely with a small offset from the devices surface. The exterior hard shell raps around the edges of the device. To allow the shell to be able to be mounted on the device the corners of the hard shell are cut open. This allows each sidewall to flex away when a device is inserted and snap back once it is in place. The elastomeric material fills in the gaps created at the corners of the exterior hard shell to allow flex for mounting.

Abstract: A system for charging a personal electronic device (“PED”). The system includes a power storage module (or “portable power source”) including a magnetic transfer module, a charging module, and a storage module. The power storage module wirelessly transfers power to the PED via a device interface module, to power a device charging module in the PED.

Abstract: A luggage case (100, 600, 700, 800, 900) may include opposing sidewalls forming minor faces (105, 106), opposing sidewalls forming major faces (101, 102), and opposing end walls (103, 104) together forming an article defining an enclosed space (109). A line of separation (150) may be formed in said minor faces (105, 160) and end walls (103, 104). A first portion of the line of separation (150) may extend along a first portion of opposing minor faces (105, 106) at a location proximate one of said opposing major faces (101, 102) and corresponding one of said opposing end walls (103, 104) positioned therebetween. A second portion of the line of separation (150) may extend along a second portion of said opposing minor faces (105, 106) in a direction away from said one of said opposing major faces (101, 102) and towards other of said opposing major faces (101, 102).
Abstract: A remote cinching device 14 comprising a resiliency mechanism 15 and 16, a force-transferring device 17, and a cinching device 28, 30, 32 enhances luggage, totes, briefs, and other transport and/or storage devices. The resiliency mechanism biases the luggage in an open condition, while the cinching device, located remotely from the areas undergoing the highest levels of expansion force (the top and bottom ends of an upright luggage case, for example), allows effective, easy, and visually pleasing compression of the case once it has been closed. The cinch is carried by force-transferring structures 17, by which the act of cinching is made even more efficient.
