    Abstract: A reflective plate used in a reflective LCD includes a base substrate, a plurality of spacer cores dispersed on the base substrate, an adhesive disposed on the base substrate to attach the spacer cores on the base substrate, and a reflective layer deposited on the base substrate to cover the spacer cores and the adhesive. The base substrate is first prepared, then a plurality of spacers are dispersed on the base substrate, each of the spacers including a spacer core and an adhesive deposited around the spacer core. Next, the adhesive deposited around the spacer cores is molten and the molten adhesive is hardened so that the spacer cores are attached on the base substrate. Finally, a reflective layer is deposited on the substrate to cover the spacer cores.

The laser source is located outside the mask frame, and the laser beam is guided through a glass wall of a screen to weld the fastening elements.

The cap assembly comprises a negative plate for mounting on an upper end of the can, a positive plate disposed on the negative plate, an insulating member disposed between the negative and positive plates, a current control member disposed on the positive plate, and a rivet penetrating central portions of the negative and positive plates, the rivet being insulated from the negative plate by a gasket and connected to the roll electrode assembly through a tab. The current control member reduces conductivity between the rivet and the positive plate, thereby cutting off the flow of the current.

Particularly, the supplementary magnet ring is mounted on a holder 48 of the convergence purity magnet 40 and has a pole arrangement to move the convergence of the R and B beams in the direction opposite to the electron gun from the screen.

The method of manufacturing the phosphor material includes the steps of adding (ZnCd)S based compound phosphor material or ZnS based compound phosphor material to a vehicle and mixing the resulting mixture, and adding a metal to the mixture, the metal having properties for preventing oxidation and reducing surface charge of the phosphor material. Preferably, the metal is Zn having a diameter of 0.1 to 10 .mu.m and a purity of 95%. Also preferably, the metal is 0.01 to 10.0 wt % based on the wt % of the phosphor material.
