    Abstract: According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, in a structure in which a permanent magnet is embedded radially outwardly from a rotor portion, a pair of permanent magnets is embedded in a V-letter shape and a slit in a longitudinal direction is radially formed between the pair of permanent magnets. According to the preferred embodiment of the present invention, it is possible to implement relatively higher torque performance while minimizing the number of permanent magnets embedded in an interior permanent synchronous machine (IPMSM).
