The electronic device includes a display, a storage unit configured to store a combination rule of letters constituting a word; and a processor configured to provide a letter input UI of a specific language, to predict a first letter inputted on the letter input UI and a second letter to be selected based on the letter combination rule of the specific language stored in the storage unit, and to control the display such that an active area of a key corresponding to the second letter is expansively provided.

Abstract: A display device is disclosed. The display device comprises: a display panel; a memory storing information on a compensation value according to a change in gray scale of an input image, which is preconfigured according to a driving frequency of the display panel; a timing controller for controlling the display panel to display a current frame of the input image, on the basis of information stored in the memory; and a processor for acquiring a target gray scale value of the current frame on the basis of a frequency of the current frame, acquiring a compensation value corresponding to the acquired target gray scale value, and controlling the timing controller to display the current frame on the basis of the acquired compensation value.

Abstract: An apparatus and method to control access in a P2P (peer-to-peer) network. The apparatus for controlling access in a P2P network includes an attribute processing module to obtain an attribute of a service requestor and to determine an access control policy for the service requestor based on the obtained attribute; and an access control module to control the provision of a service to the service requester according to the access control policy. If a service provider is unable to obtain the attribute of the service requester, the service provider obtains the attribute of the service requester from at least one peer in the network.

Abstract: An authentication method and authorization key generation method in a wireless portable Internet system is provided. In a wireless portable Internet system, the base station and the subscriber station share an authorization key when an authentication process is performed according to a predetermined authentication method negotiated therebetween. Particularly, the subscriber station and the base station perform an additional authentication process including an authorization key-related parameter and a security-related parameter and exchanges a security algorithm and SA (Security Association) information. In addition, an authorization key is derived from one or more basic key obtained through various authentication processes as an input key of an authorization key generation algorithm. Therefore, reliability of a security related parameter received from the receiving node can be enhanced and an authorization key having a hierarchical and secure structure can be provided.
