Abstract: The present disclosure relates to 5th generation (5G) or pre-5G communication systems for supporting higher data transfer rates, following the 4th generation (4G) communication systems, such as long term evolution (LTE). A method for supporting handover with multi-connectivity in a wireless communication system is provided. The method includes sending a measurement report message including information of at least one small base station (eNB) to a macro cell eNB, receiving information of a new small eNB in a target cell from the macro cell eNB based on the measurement report message, and performing a random access procedure with the new small eNB in the target cell based on handover.

The method includes forming a first to third gate lines on a substrate, the second gate line formed between the first and third gate lines; forming a gate isolation region to cut the first to third gate lines into two first sub gate lines, two second sub gate lines and two third sub gate lines, respectively; forming a first gate contact on one of the two first sub gate lines; forming a second gate contact on the two second sub gate lines; forming a third gate contact on one of the two third sub gate lines; forming a first metal line to connect the first and third gate contacts; and forming a second metal line. The first to third gate lines extend in a first direction, and the gate isolation region extends in a second direction different from the first direction.

Abstract: An NFC (near field communication) device can include a resonance unit and an NFC chip. The resonance unit may communicate with an external device through an electromagnetic wave. Abstract: An electronic device and a method for recognizing a speech are provided. The method for recognizing a speech by an electronic device includes: receiving sounds generated from a sound source through a plurality of microphones; calculating power values from a plurality of audio signals generated by performing signal processing on each sound input through the plurality of microphones and calculating direction information on the sound source based on the calculated power values and storing the calculated direction information; and performing the speech recognition on a speech section included in the audio signal based on the direction information on the sound source. As a result, the electronic device may correctly detect only a speech section from an audio signal while improving a speech section detection related processing speed.
Abstract: A system includes a fabric switch including a motherboard, a baseboard management controller (BMC), a network switch configured to transport network signals, and a PCIe switch configured to transport PCIe signals; a midplane; and a plurality of device ports. Each of the plurality of device ports is configured to connect a storage device to the motherboard of the fabric switch over the midplane and carry the network signals and the PCIe signals over the midplane. The storage device is configurable in multiple modes based a protocol established over a fabric connection between the system and the storage device.

Abstract: One embodiment provides a system for nonlinear control of a loudspeaker. The system comprises a current source amplifier connected to the loudspeaker, and a controller connected to the current source amplifier. The controller is configured to determine a target displacement of a diaphragm of the speaker driver based on a source signal for reproduction via the loudspeaker, determine a control current based on the target displacement of the diaphragm and a first physical model of the loudspeaker, and transmit a control current signal specifying the control current to the current source amplifier. The current source amplifier outputs the control current to drive the speaker driver based on the control current signal. An actual displacement of the diaphragm during the reproduction of the source signal is controlled based on the control current, via the control current signal.
