Abstract: A semiconductor light emitting device is provided. The device includes: an LED chip having a lower surface, an upper surface, and a side surface between the upper surface and the lower surface; first and second conductive bumps disposed on first and second conductive bumps provided on the lower surface; a first wavelength conversion layer having a first region provided on the upper surface of the LED chip and a second region which extends past the side surface of the LED chip; a second wavelength conversion layer having a first surface contacting the side surface of the LED chip, a second surface, a third surface connecting the first surface and the second surface, and contacting the second region, and a fourth surface located opposite to the third surface and inclined; and a reflective resin portion provided on the lower surface of the LED chip and the fourth surface.

Abstract: Provided is an integrated circuit device including: a plurality of fin-type active regions protruding from a top surface of a substrate and extending in a first horizontal direction; at least one semiconductor layer, each including a lower semiconductor layer and an upper semiconductor layer sequentially stacked on at least one of the plurality of fin-type active regions; and a plurality of gate electrodes extending in a second horizontal direction crossing the first horizontal direction on the plurality of fin-type active regions, wherein the lower semiconductor layer includes a same material as a material of the upper semiconductor layer, and wherein a semiconductor interface is provided between the lower semiconductor layer and the upper semiconductor layer.

Abstract: An apparatus and method provide interactive edutainment through connection of a smart TV and other devices (e.g., a tablet PC, a smart phone, and a projector). The method includes connecting with a control device, and when at least one main story for interactivity is stored, receiving from a user a selection of the main story to be executed through the control device. The method also includes executing the selected main story, and when a control command is received from the control device, processing the control command.

Abstract: Circuits and methods are provided for driving flat panel displays (e.g., a liquid crystal display (LCD)), which provide reduced power consumption for driving data lines of flat panels displays. Source driving circuits and methods for driving data lines use both intermediate reference voltages and boosted driving voltages in each driving cycle (as opposed to entirely using boosted driving voltages) to reduce power consumption and provide charge recycling.
