Abstract: The embodiments herein provide a method and system for creating a secure connection for a User Equipment (UE) in a wireless network including a UE, carrier aggregated with at least one first serving frequency served by a first eNB and at least one second serving frequency served by a second eNB. A unique non-repetitive security base key associated with the second eNB is generated using a freshness parameter and security key associated with the first eNB. The use of a different freshness parameter for each security base key derivation avoids key stream repetition. Further, a user plane encryption key is derived based on the generated unique non-repetitive security base key associated with the second eNB for encrypting data transfer over at least one data radio bearer.

Abstract: An image processing device includes a first wide dynamic range (WDR) image generation block, a control signal generator, and a second WDR image generation block. The first WDR image generation block processes a long-exposure image signal to generate a first image signal, processes a short-exposure image signal using a second weight value to generates a second image signal, and to synthesize the first image signal and the second image signal to generate a first WDR image signal. The control signal generator calculates a difference between the second weight value and a reference weight value and generates control signals according to a result of the calculation. The second WDR image generation block adjusts a noise level of the first WDR image signal using the control signals and generates a second WDR image signal according to a result of the adjustment.
Abstract: A method and an apparatus for efficiently reporting a master information block (MIB) decoding status of a neighbor cell in a wireless communication system are provided. The method includes receiving, by a user equipment (UE) and from an evolved Node B (eNB) of a serving cell, neighbor cell-related information for receiving an MIB of the neighbor cell, based on the neighbor-cell related information, decoding, by the UE, the MIB of the neighbor cell, and transmitting, by the UE, decoding information of the MIB to the eNB of the serving cell.
Abstract: Three dimensional semiconductor memory devices and methods of fabricating the same are provided. According to the method, sacrificial layers and insulating layers are alternately and repeatedly stacked on a substrate, and a cutting region penetrating an uppermost sacrificial layer of the sacrificial layers is formed. The cutting region is filled with a non sacrificial layer. The insulating layers and the sacrificial layers are patterned to form a mold pattern. The mold pattern includes insulating patterns, sacrificial patterns, and the non sacrificial layer in the cutting region. The sacrificial patterns may be replaced with electrodes. The related semiconductor memory device is also provided.

The magnetic junction includes a pinned layer, a perpendicular enhancement layer (PEL), an insertion layer between the pinned layer and PEL, a free layer and a nonmagnetic spacer layer between the PEL and free layer. The insertion layer includes at least one magnetic material and at least one high crystallization temperature nonmagnetic material. The PEL is between the insertion layer and the nonmagnetic spacer layer. The free layer is switchable between a plurality of stable magnetic states when a write current is passed through the magnetic junction. The PEL and free and pinned layers each has a perpendicular magnetic anisotropy energy greater than its out-of-plane demagnetization energy.
Abstract: Provided are an imaging device implementing pseudo correlated double sampling (CDS), and an imaging method and a control method of the image device. The imaging device includes: a pixel array comprising a pixel configured to generate a current in response to incident light; a readout circuit configured to read out a plurality of output signals of the pixel, the plurality of output signals corresponding to a plurality of consecutive integration periods of the pixel within an aggregating period; and an aggregator configured to aggregate the plurality of output signals read out by the readout circuit to obtain a final aggregated output corresponding to illuminance for the aggregating period, wherein the readout circuit is configured to read out the plurality of output signals by, for each output signal, sampling a signal voltage of the pixel and sampling a subsequent reset voltage of the pixel and obtaining a difference therebetween.

Abstract: In a method of operating a memory device, a first write command, a first write address, and first write data are received by a first memory device through a channel. The first write command, received by the first memory device, is sensed by a controller. The controller is connected to the channel and controls a second memory device. The method includes: performing a draw call on primitives and rasterizing the primitives into blocks of pixels; selecting the draw call for merge testing of individual blocks; performing a depth test on the individual blocks; in response to the depth test being satisfied, merging partially covered fragments of the same draw call of one of the block of pixels to form a merged block of pixels; and performing shading of the merged block of pixels on a draw call basis.

Abstract: A method for connecting to a Registered Public Land Mobile Network (RPLMN) after receiving an accept message with limited service from a user selected CSG cell, which is associated to a different PLMN than the RPLMN during manual CSG selection mode is disclosed. The method includes connecting to the RPLMN based on the availability of the user selected CSG cell in UTRAN. Abstract: A session management method and apparatus for managing mobility and session procedures integrally to improve manage the session of the terminal efficiently in the handover procedure. The session management method of a control entity includes transmitting a bearer management message for one of establishing, modifying, and releasing a bearer to a source base station, transmitting, when a handover of a terminal occurs before the bearer management is completed, a handover request including at least one of a first list including the bearers being managed by the source base station and a second list including the bearers being managed by the control entity to a target base station, and receiving a handover response from the target base station, wherein the handover response includes a bearer list generated based on one of the first and second list.
