    Abstract: A mobile terminal having a projector and a method for controlling a display unit in of the mobile terminal are provided. The method includes outputting, if a presentation application is selected, a screen image for performing the selected presentation application through the display unit and the projector, turning off power supplied to an entire area of the display unit, and performing, if a touch is detected through the touch screen, a function according to the detected touch in the selected presentation application.
