Abstract: Provided are a three-dimensional semiconductor device and a method of fabricating the same. The three-dimensional semiconductor device may include a mold structure for providing gap regions and an interconnection structure including a plurality of interconnection patterns disposed in the gap regions. The mold structure may include interlayer molds defining upper surfaces and lower surfaces of the interconnection patterns and sidewall molds defining sidewalls of the interconnection patterns below the interlayer molds.

Abstract: A method of encoding stereo audio that minimizes a number of pieces of side information required for parametric-encoding and parametric-decoding of the stereo audio. The side information may include parameters about interchannel intensity difference (IID), interchannel correlation (IC), overall phase difference (OPD), and interchannel phase difference (IPD), which are required to restore the mono audio to the stereo audio.

Abstract: Provided is a method of performing an image segmentation so as to extract a building region from an input color image. The method includes extracting a plurality of straight lines that pass through a vanishing point and determining the building region in the image based on color values around the plurality of straight lines.

Abstract: An apparatus for fabricating a semiconductor package may include a mold and a molding plate. Abstract: A method for controlling device triggering in a mobile communication system includes registering a default urgent level of a terminal when the terminal is connected, receiving a device trigger register including urgent level information transmitted from an application server, and setting the received urgent level in a packet filter, and comparing, upon reception of a downlink data packet from the application server, a default urgent level and an urgent level of the application server to determine whether to transmit a downlink data notification. The method further includes receiving a device trigger register including wait time information transmitted from an application server, and then setting the received wait time in the packet filter, and buffering during the wait time upon reception of the downlink data packet from the application server, and then determining a downlink data notification transmission upon expiration of the wait time.

Abstract: Apparatuses and methods related to a server, a multimedia apparatus and a control method thereof, are provided. More particularly, the apparatuses and methods relate to a server, a multimedia apparatus and a control method thereof which synchronously plays multimedia contents through a plurality of multimedia apparatuses. A multimedia apparatus includes: a communicator configured to be connected to a server; and a controller configured to transmit to the server a request to start playing a multimedia content, receive synchronization information from the server that is necessary for synchronously playing the multimedia content. The synchronization information from the server is determined on the basis of the play start request, and synchronously plays the multimedia content based on the received synchronization information.

The signal processing apparatus includes: a network jitter measurer which estimates network jitter using a weighting of a network jitter variance according to a network state, a compression and output unit which compresses or outputs a voice frame based on the estimated network jitter, and a loss concealer which divides a voice packet loss into short-term loss concealment and long-term loss concealment, and performs loss concealment in a different way depending on whether the voice packet loss is the short-term loss concealment or the long-term loss concealment.

Abstract: An electronic device and a control method thereof includes an infrared module which receives an infrared control signal having a predetermined section-specific waveform from an infrared transmitter; a switching unit which turns on/off the infrared module; and a controller which controls the switching unit to alternately turn on and off the infrared module in a predetermined cycle for recognizing the predetermined section-specific waveform of the infrared control signal. Thus, electric power consumed by an infrared module in a standby mode may be reduced while receiving a signal of an infrared transmitter.
