Abstract: A method of controlling an output voltage of an ultrasound signal that is output by an ultrasound signal generating unit to a target object via a probe, the method including acquiring a target output voltage to be output by the probe to the target object and transmission conditions; acquiring property information regarding the probe; and controlling a voltage of the ultrasound signal output by the ultrasound signal generating unit based on the target output voltage, the transmission conditions, and the property information regarding the probe.

Abstract: Provided is a method of displaying additional information related to a measured value of an object, which includes acquiring measurement item information of the object; acquiring at least one of a measurement point and a measurement direction for the object; determining a reference value for a measurement based on the acquired measurement item information; acquiring the measured value of the object based on the at least one of the measurement point and the measurement direction; and displaying additional information including the determined reference value and the acquired measured value.

Abstract: A method of providing multi spectral Doppler images, including displaying an ultrasound image of an object in a first region; setting a plurality of sample volumes in the displayed ultrasound image; obtaining a plurality of Doppler signals corresponding to the set plurality of sample volumes; and tridimensionally displaying in a second region the multi spectral Doppler images that are generated based on the obtained plurality of Doppler signals.
