Abstract: A high temperature iron-chromium-aluminium (FeCrAl) alloy tube extending along a longitudinal axis, wherein the tube is formed from a continuous strip of a high temperature FeCrAl alloy and comprises a helical welded seam. The high temperature FeCrAl alloy tube is manufactured by feeding a continuous strip of the high temperature FeCrAl alloy toward a tube shaping station, helically winding the strip such that long edges of the strip abut each other and a rotating tube moving forward in a direction parallel to its longitudinal axis is formed, and continuously joining said abutting long edges together in a welding process directly when the tube is formed, whereby a welded tube comprising a helical welded seam is obtained.
Abstract: A cutting apparatus suitable for creating tunnels and subterranean roadways includes independently pivoting supports that each carry a respective independently pivoting arm and a rotatable cutting head. Each cutting head via the supports and arms, is configured to slew laterally outward in a sideways direction and to pivot in a vertical upward and downward direction. The supports and arms are mounted on a linear moving sled carried by a main frame.

Abstract: An arrangement and method of utilizing rock drilling information in a mine whereby drill holes are drilled in a surrounding rock material by a first mining vehicle. During drilling measuring data is produced and is inputted to a monitoring device for analyzing procedures. The monitoring device produces rock condition data of the rock material being drilled. Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a wear part having high wear resistance and strength and a method of making the same. The wear part is composed of a compound body of cemented carbide particles cast with a low-carbon steel alloy. The low-carbon steel alloy has a carbon content corresponding to a carbon equivalent Ceq=wt % C+0.3(wt % Si+wt % P) of about 0.1 to about 1.5 weight %. The wear part could include a body with a plurality of inserts of cemented carbide particles cast into a low-carbon steel alloy disposed in the body. Each of the plurality of cemented carbide inserts are coated with at least one layer of oxidation protection/chemical resistant material. The plurality of inserts are directly fixed onto a mold corresponding to the shape of the wear part. The cemented carbide inserts are then encapsulated with the molten low-carbon steel alloy to cast the cemented carbide inserts with the low-carbon steel alloy.
Abstract: In the production of thermoplastic granulate material, after mixing the starting materials, it is common in the state of the art for these materials to be kneaded and compressed in extruders, with subsequent granulation. According to the invention, no extruder is used, rather the starting materials for the thermoplastic granulate material are supplied directly to a double belt press after the mixing. Subsequently, the generated web-type to sheet-type body is processed into a granulate material by means of grinding, or is used as a web-type, sheet-type, strip-type or film-type intermediate product for the production of a further intermediate product or end products.

The spatial locations matching during the second stage can be the same spatial locations chosen in the first stage to ensure immobility, or a different set of spatial locations.

Abstract: A crusher wear resistant liner for positioning at a crusher bottom shell includes a plurality of modular wear resistant plates mountable at an inside surface of the bottom shell and positioned side-by-side to surround and protect the bottom shell interior. The groove and its relative axial positioning minimizes the stress concentrations at the crushing head resulting from forces tangential to the outward facing surface.

Abstract: An austenitic alloy for high temperature use, particularly for use in resistance heating elements.
