Abstract: A pair of side plates are provided in opposing and spaced relationship, a pair of jaw members are pivoted to a pair of main shafts extending between said side plates, a pair of opposing crushing blades are mounted on the leading end side of said jaw members for pinching and partially crushing a workpiece positioned therebetween in response to the closing movement of said jaw members and a pair of shearing blades are mounted on the base end side of the jaw members for shearing off said workpiece on the crushed portions of the workpiece in response to the closing movement of the jaw members.
