Abstract: The invention includes saponin-containing compositions, wipes impregnated with these compositions, and related methods. Specifically, the invention includes a cleansing and deodorizing composition that includes a saponin; a deodorizer; cyclodextrin and a solvent. The saponin may be derived from botanical sources, such as, for example, Sapindus mukorossi or trifoliatus. Also included are textiles that are impregnated with the composition of the invention. Such textiles may be, for example, made of biodegradable materials. The invention also includes related methods of use and treatment.
