    Abstract: A preservation container for food and the like comprising a sealable container main body (2), to which a lid (3) is attached, an opening (5) connecting the inside and the outside is provided on the lid (3), and a gas non-permeable sheet (6) having a vent hole (7) at a position offset to the opening (5) is arranged to cover the opening (5). When the pressure inside the container is reduced, the sheet (6) is curved toward the inside at a part corresponding to the opening (5) and is adhered and retained on the outer surface of the lid (3).
