Abstract: A cargo container includes a base, side walls and a rear wall on the base and a top attached to the side walls and the rear wall. A front frame is attached to the base, the side walls and the top. Left and right swing out doors are pivotally attached to the left and right sides of the front frame. A roll up door is attached to a top of the front frame, in between the left and right swing out doors. The container may be loaded and unloaded with the swing out doors and the roll up door open, providing a maximum size front opening, or with the swing out doors closed and the roll up door open, providing a reduced size front opening equal to the width of the roll up door.

Abstract: A cargo container includes a base, side walls and a rear wall on the base and a top attached to the side walls and the rear wall. A door frame is attached to the base, the side walls and the top. A fabric panel is provided on or in the door frame. Left and right cable rings are provided at left and right lower corners of the fabric panel. Left and right door posts are positioned at left and right lower corners of the door frame. A cable in or on the fabric panel is attached to or extends around the left and right cable rings. A cable tensioner tensions the cable to secure the fabric panel in closed position in the door frame.

Abstract: An air cargo container has a tubular head rail extending across the front opening of the container. Sliders are provided in or on the head rail. A curtain door has sheet of flexible material and flexible straps attached to the sheet. The straps are attached to the sliders. The curtain door may be opened and closed via the sliders sliding along the head rail.

Abstract: An air cargo container has a rolling platform for cargo personnel to stand on. The platform may be moved horizontally as the container is loaded. A latch on the platform may be used to secure the platform into a desired position. The platform may be for example 8-20 inches higher than the floor of the container, to allow cargo personnel to conveniently step up onto to the platform, and reach the upper areas of the container. With the platform adjacent to the front or back of the container, the platform may optionally be rotated from horizontal into a vertical storage position, and then secured to a front or rear post of the container.

Abstract: A cargo pallet cover and net assembly includes a cargo cover attached to a cargo net. The cargo net is attached to upper and lower side regions of the cargo cover so that the cargo cover and net assembly may be placed over a cargo load in one step. The cargo net is optionally attached at or near the lowermost side regions of the cargo cover so that the cargo cover is substantially prevented from obstructing attachment of the cargo net to a pallet on which the cargo load is supported.

Abstract: An aircraft cargo and seating pallet having one or more internal stringer sections including a top section configured to engage a seat and/or a seat attachment. The top section may be a linear track along which the seat or seat attachment may slide, or it may include fixed attachment points for securing the seat to the pallet. The aircraft cargo and seating pallet may also include one or more hinged flaps that are positionable over flanges extending outwardly from a lower portion of the pallet. As a result, the flanges are not exposed to passengers, and the open space between adjacent pallets is substantially minimized.

Abstract: An air cargo container includes a base, two side walls, and a rear wall. The side walls each included a curved front edge. A retractable or roll-up door is located between the side walls. The door is extendible from an open position in which the door is retracted or rolled-up, to a closed position in which the door follows the curved front edges of the side walls and terminates at a position adjacent to the base. A support member is attached along the curved front edge of each of the side walls. The support members each include a channel for receiving a cable on a side edge of the retractable door. One or more levers on each support member are rotatable from an open position to a closed position in which the levers secure the cables within the channels in the support members.

Abstract: An air cargo container assembly for rapid air shipment of emergency and other supplies, without netting, includes sub-containers attachable to a base plate via locking mechanisms on the sub-containers. The locking mechanisms pass through openings in the base and engage a downward-facing surface of the base. Each locking mechanism includes a latch having a rotatable shaft, a head connected to a bottom end of the shaft, a plate connected to a top end of the shaft. A spring biases the plate toward the bottom surface of the sub-container. A lever is attached to the shaft between the head portion and the spring. The shaft and head portion are rotatable between an unlocked position and a locked position via the lever. One or more guide members may be mounted on the base to help align the sub-containers.

Abstract: A cargo container for air or surface freight has roll-up doors to allow access, through the interior of the cargo container, to cargo contained in adjacent cargo containers. The roll-up doors include a curtain and a doorbar. Ramps and plates guide the roll-up doors into a pre-locked position. An internal latching mechanism closes and re-opens the roll-up door from within the cargo container interior. The curtain has sewn in springs at its edges, which are slidably contained within recesses in the door posts, so that the curtain is supported on all sides.

Abstract: A reusable skid for moving heavy bulk materials comprising a platform and a plurality of shock-absorbing skid feet. The platform, in its preferred embodiment, comprises a plurality of longitudinal and transverse beams forming an upper surface for mounting bulk materials. The preferred embodiment of the skid feet have leg members that are slidably mounted to the longitudinal beams. The skid feet also have elastomeric springs mounted between a spring base in the leg members that bias the longitudinal beams in an upward position at rest, and are compressed when bulk materials are placed on the skid, thereby cushioning the forces on the platform and the skid feet. The skid feet may easily be removed and replaced.

Rivets or bolts are inserted through oversized holes in the metal, polycarbonate, attachment strip assembly and then torqued. The compressive forces exerted thereby create the rigid joint (even in an environment where the joint is subject to 180.degree. F..+-. temperature cycling such that the different coefficients for thermal expansion for the polycarbonate vs.

Abstract: The cargo pallet for use in transporting cargo in aircraft, in which the balsa wood core of the prior art pallet is replaced with an aluminum grid, to which the top and bottom aluminum sheets of the pallet are attached by rivets. The aluminum grid comprises stringers and struts which may be parallel, respectively, to the sides of the pallet, or placed laterally, at an angle, respectively, to the sides of the pallet. Further, the stringers and struts may be interlocked.
