Abstract: Disclosed is a temperature control system and a kneading-mixing extruder apparatus implementing the temperature control system. The temperature control system includes a flow passage formed in a stationary disc having a plurality of holes provided in a kneading mechanism of the extruder apparatus, a fluid supply device for supplying temperature-adjusted fluid into the flow passage and a temperature control device for setting the temperature of the stationary disc to a desired target temperature.
Abstract: A multi-stage vacuum kneading-extruder includes a degassing chamber for storing material to be processed and reducing pressure of space for storing the material, a kneading-conveyer device for kneading while conveying the material sent from the degassing chamber, and an extruding mechanism for extruding the kneaded material, at a conveyer terminal end of the kneading-conveyer device, into a predetermined shape. The kneading-conveyer includes a pair of conveyer screws disposed one after another in a conveying direction of the material and a grinding-kneading mechanism interposed between the front and rear screws. The grinding-kneading mechanism includes a plurality of unit kneading mechanisms disposed in opposition to each other relative to the material conveying direction. Each of the unit kneading mechanisms includes an un-rotatable stationary disc, a rotary disc rotatable relative to the stationary disc and a stationary filter interposed between the stationary and rotary discs.
Abstract: An apparatus for mixing and kneading raw materials, such as soap, and extruding the mixture into a predetermined shape. The apparatus includes a cylinder having a rotatable plodder worm shaft, a levigating mechanism disposed at a longitudinal position of the cylinder and including a rotary disc and a fixed disc fixed to the cylinder. The rotary disc and the fixed disc are disposed side by side along the axial direction of the plodder worm shaft and define a plurality of through holes allowing passage of the material in the axial direction. A flow passage forming member is disposed within a moving passage of the material between the rotary disc and the fixed disc and forms a flow passage allowing passage therethrough of fluid maintained at a predetermined temperature. A fluid supplying/exhausting device is provided for supplying the fluid at a predetermined flow rate to the flow passage and exhausting the fluid from the flow passage forming member.
Abstract: A vacuum kneading and extruding method includes the steps of separately and continuously measuring plural types of material and continuously feeding the material into a kneading and degassing tank; kneading the plural types of material fed, and degassing the material by decompressing a material accommodating space into a vacuum; kneading and transporting the material in a decompressed condition through a multi-stage kneading mechanism; and forming and extruding kneaded material in a predetermined shape. An apparatus for use in executing this method is included.
Abstract: A colloidal substance is injected into a vacuum chamber to be dehydrated therein. The dehydrated substance is extracted from the vacuum chamber by a screw extruder disposed at a bottom of the vacuum chamber. A gas resulting from the dehydration is drawn from the vacuum chamber into a surface condenser to be cooled through an indirect heat exchange with cooling water. After the dehydration of the substance, the extraction of the dehydrated substance and the cooling of the gas are carried out in parallel.
Abstract: An extruding apparatus having a reservoir for reserving a treatment-object material including a main raw material, additives or auxiliary materials, a screw disposed within a material-conveying passage and for conveying the material to a terminal end, and an extruding die disposed at the terminal end and for extruding the material into a predetermined shape. The material-conveying passage includes a pair of discs disposed at intermediate positions in the conveying direction of the screw and opposed to each other transverse relative to the passage. Each of the discs defines a plurality of slit pores extending in the material conveying direction, with one disc being operatively coupled with the screw to be rotatable relative to the other disc. The disc pair constitutues a milling-kneading mechanism for milling and kneading the material by causing the material to pass through the slit pores formed by the disc pair.
Abstract: A kneading and extruding apparatus for extrudable material such as soap material and its additives, comprising a perforated rotating disc at an output end of a kneading screw shaft, a perforated stationary disc adjacent to the rotating disc to form a clearance therebetween, a punching plate fixed to the stationary disc confronting the rotating disc and formed with a great number of small holes having a diameter smaller than those of the holes of the rotating and stationary discs, and a blade-like cutter for serving the material extruded through the holes of the stationary disc. The material is sheared in the clearance between the rotating disc and the punching plate to blend the material and the additives effectively.
