Patent number: 7982152Abstract: Disclosed a trigger switch including fixed contacts forming main contacts double in series and functioning as a switch for supplying a motor with power and slide plate parts connected to the fixed contacts; and movable contacts provided in an actuator interlocking with an operation part and auxiliary contacts sliding on the slide plate parts. Drawing the operation part causes the actuator to move forward making the movable contact come into electric contact with the fixed contact to supply the motor with power, simultaneously making the auxiliary contact bridge over the slide plate parts to achieve electric contact to make no potential in the contact between the movable contact and the fixed contact. Releasing the operation part make the movable contact separate from the fixed contact, simultaneously making the auxiliary contact bridging over the slide plate parts cause a break of the contact with the slide plate part.Type: GrantFiled: November 26, 2008Date of Patent: July 19, 2011Assignee: Satori S-Tech Co., Ltd.Inventors: Hiroyuki Hirose, Isao Inagaki, Satoru Kowaki

Patent number: 7579563Abstract: Disclosed a trigger switch having a trigger to be locked stably when it is pulled in. The trigger has wall surfaces disposed oppositely leaving a space therebetween. Pivotal holes are formed in the wall surfaces and a pivotal shaft is inserted in said holes. Rotary shaft holes are formed in the wall surfaces, and a rotary shaft for inverting a switch is inserted in the rotary shaft holes. A stopper for stopping the trigger from being pulled while rotating about the pivotal shaft is mounted between the pivotal shaft and the rotary shaft. The stopper includes a stopper shaft engaged in stopper holes formed in the wall surfaces. A stopper button is mounted at an end of the stopper shaft. When the stopper button is pushed, the stopper shaft is moved to place a thinned portion thereof into the stopper holes, thus releasing the trigger from the stopper.Type: GrantFiled: August 4, 2008Date of Patent: August 25, 2009Assignee: Satori S-Tech Co., Ltd.Inventors: Isao Inagaki, Satoru Kowaki

Patent number: 6664490Abstract: An AC/DC switch for electric power tools avoids bouncing when turned on, but assures quick cutting-off of heavy current. Operation does not vary with age, as might be caused by wearing of projections of the switching mechanism and/or inconsistency in spring material. A reversal spring quickly switches the mechanism on and off so that the movable contacts are brought close to the stationary contacts before the turning-on, thereby permitting the turning-on subsequent to traverse of the reversal point without bouncing of the movable contacts from the stationary contacts, and preventing movement of the movable contacts before reversal spring has stored increased energy, thus allowing quick release of stored energy to make the movable contacts leave the stationary contacts at a speed sufficient to prevent electric arcs between the movable and stationary contacts, and hence prevent the wearing of the contacts.Type: GrantFiled: November 19, 2002Date of Patent: December 16, 2003Assignee: Satori-S-Tech Co., Ltd.Inventor: Yuichi Kato
