Abstract: The invention relates to a radio frequency identification capsule for marking an object. The capsule is characterized in that it comprises: a metal base to be attached to the object; a receiving element for holding a radio tag, the receiving element being secured to the base and overmolded on the base in order to form a durably tight joint with the base; and means for holding the radio tag at a determined distance from the base. The invention allows an automatic inventory of a plurality of marked objects randomly arranged in a highly metal medium and in the presence of Faraday cages.
