  • Patent number: 7774855
Abstract: A computer-implemented system, method and software program product for retrieving and displaying large amounts of data in a computer system. The system comprising an integrity client computer, an analyst client computer, a visual display unit, a pointing device, an integrity checker, an integrity server interconnected to the integrity checker, a user interface, and at least one integrity database. The integrity checker is located on the integrity client computer. The integrity checker checks status of files located on the integrity client computer. The integrity server collects, stores and retrieves data generated by the integrity checker. The at least one integrity database is located in the integrity server and stores data provided by the integrity checker.

  • Patent number: 7734781
Abstract: In a shared storage infrastructure accessible by more than one customer, the shared storage infrastructure is separated into a plurality of logical storage areas. A customer is associated with at least one logical storage area within the shared storage infrastructure. The customer and its logical storage areas are associated with at least one port in the shared storage infrastructure. Each customer has access only to the logical storage areas associated with the customer and cannot access the logical storage areas of any other customer. The shared storage infrastructure provides policy based storage management to each customer, that is, each customer appears to have access to a non-shared storage subsystem. By providing a virtualization layer, a customer may be given the ability to manage its own storage needs.

  • Patent number: 7647418
Abstract: Systems and method for measuring parameters of a media stream are disclosed. Some example systems include a data collection agent that selectively couples with at least one user-designated media stream and collects data associated with the media stream. The example systems may further include a web server that communicates with at least one data collection agent. The web server may obtain a request from a user for measurement of a user-designated media stream, the user request including an identification of the media stream and a list of one or more performance parameters of said stream to be measured. The data collection agent receives from the web server a parameter set defining a measurement of the user-designated media stream, collects and measures media stream data according to the parameter set, and provides the user with real-time performance characteristics.

  • Patent number: 7590734
Abstract: Methods, systems, and protocols are described for securing data in transit over networks. A communication session is initiated between a client and a server. One or more communication channels can be set up between the client and the server. Each established communication channel may have zero or more intermediary nodes that are selected by the client or by the server to process information exchanged between the client and the server via the communication channels.

  • Patent number: 7552445
Abstract: An event monitoring system includes a plurality of enterprise brokers; and an event monitor coupled to at least some of the enterprise brokers using a network. The event monitor receives data event information from enterprise brokers connected thereto, and generates an incoming events list including the data event information received from at least some of the enterprise brokers. The event monitor may maintain connections to at least some of the enterprise brokers. The event monitor may simulate the flow of simulated data events throughout an enterprise.

  • Patent number: 7353272
Abstract: A method for Internet performance monitoring and analysis includes, by at least one data collection agent (DCA), a DCA being a computer operating on the Internet and configured with software that is controlled remotely from another location on the Internet, responsive to a request from another location, said request including an indication of a web page, collecting web page object-level data with said at least one DCA; measuring access to web page objects in the web page; and transmitting measured information about the access to the web page back to the location that made the request. The measuring includes one or more of: capturing non-speed based information including errors during download, source of content by IP address, and type of content that an object represents, and parsing and recognizing other objects referenced in a content returned that also need to be retrieved. The measuring utilizes an HTTP protocol to interact with a web server.

  • Publication number: 20070100979
Abstract: A virtualized utility service platform includes a network infrastructure on which a plurality of virtual networks can be provisioned; a hosting infrastructure on which a plurality of virtual hosting systems can be provisioned; a computing infrastructure on which a plurality of virtual computing systems can be provisioned; and a storage infrastructure on which a plurality of virtual storage systems can be provisioned. A system provisioning mechanism provides one or more of: a virtual system comprising a virtual network, virtual hosting, virtual computing and a virtual storage system. The system provisioning system causes the virtual network to be provisioned on the network infrastructure; the virtual hosting to be provisioned on said hosting infrastructure; the computing infrastructure to be provisioned on said computing infrastructure and the virtual storage system to be provisioned on said storage infrastructure.

  • Publication number: 20060218265
Abstract: Resource requests made by clients of origin servers in a network are intercepted by reflector mechanisms and selectively reflected to other servers called repeaters. The reflectors select a best repeater from a set of possible repeaters and redirect the client to the selected best repeater. The client then makes the request of the selected best repeater. The resource is possibly rewritten to replace at least some of the resource identifiers contained therein with modified resource identifiers designating the repeater instead of the origin server.
