Abstract: In a vibrating motor, an eccentric weight is attached to one end of a rotation shaft that projects linearly from a motor housing. The vibrating motor causes the gravity center of the weight to rotate about the rotation shaft so as to produce a vibration. A disk-shaped anti-bending piece is provided on the rotation shaft coaxial with it. This anti-bending piece faces an anti-bending surface provided on some kind of supporting member when the housing is supported by the member, the piece being situated at a predetermined distance from this surface. If the shaft bends, the piece strikes the surface and the linear shape of the shaft is restored due to its own elasticity. Hence, even if the motor suffers an unexpected load, the rotation shaft does not buckle due to the weight of the eccentric weight.
Abstract: A DC motor brush assembly includes a brush brought into contact with a commutator piece which is connected to the coil of a DC motor, and a brush holder of plastic material for holding the brush against the motor housing. The brush is formed by bending from a bottom shield sheet. The bottom shield sheet is brought into intimate contact with a mold to form a non-molding chamber containing the brush when the brush holder is to be insert-molded. The brush holder is molded integrally over the bottom shield sheet.
Abstract: A commutator assembly includes a plurality of commutator pieces for supplying an electric current from a brush fixed at a motor housing to a coil rotating together with a rotor shaft of a small motor, and a commutator holder of a plastic material fixed to the rotor shaft for supporting the commutator pieces. The commutator pieces are cut out of a commutator piece joint body which has a plurality of commutator pieces radially extending from a single temporary connection and is molded into the commutator holder during molding process.
Abstract: A vibration generator in a pager or massage device for giving vibration to the user including a coil fixed to a base and a movable member vibratably supported on the base. The movable member has inner and outer yokes defining therebetween a magnet gap in which the coil is inserted and a magnet for causing magnetic flux in the magnetic gap. A parallel four-bar linkage structure with a cantilevered leaf spring, a turnover leaf spring, or two diaphragm springs supports the movable member on the base.
